Nothing against vegetarians but sometimes it is too much, 'Koi kisi ko maarkr kaise kha skta hai'...

Even the attitude towards protein shakes and other outsources of protein, fuss like 'heart-attack aa jayega/ lever khraab ho jayega' eliminates the only the chance of suitable protein intakes for our SF chaps!:D
When it comes to protein peanuts have more protein then chicken and many other alternate options are present
If you want to say that protein intake makes body bigger and bulky it's your misconceptions
It's totally based on genetics and lineage
South Indian are mostly non-vegetarian and includes fish in daily routine still shorter and lean than Indians from north where half of the population never touch flesh and other than tastes once a while
Same concept with japanese chinese Indonesians etc there is plenty of non veg in their food still shorter and lean
So on my opinion body of a person depends on his lineage history and geography

This is a bitter truth, but someone needs to say it. It's the result of 'Martial Race' i.e. caste/ethnic-based recruitment predominantly from North India(for infantry, my estimate is 70%), and the lack of human development of the recruits vis-a-vis the advancing world. They might be brave, no doubt about that, but just cannon fodder. There's huge difference between an Indian infantryman and a NATO infantry...starting from tactical gun posture, to battlefield movement. This can only work under colonial rule like in the pre-independence times, with European officers and native soldiers. Lack of Benchmarking vis-a-vis the NATO forces. The army should also look towards recruiting youths from urban/metro cities and empower the NCOs and JCOs. The officers who are Airborne/SF qualified should be given preference for promotion.

Nope protein intake with proper resistance training and being in calorie surplus is what exactly gives you bigger muscles your genatice don't mean much in contex of sf you can lack in some body parts because of genatics but you will still grow your muscles decently no matter what genatics or lineage you come from this is bullshit argument, this is not an body building competition that individuals muscles and conditioning will be taken into consideration it's just the strength that's taken into consideration with proper training all goes well.

First comes their diet…Beef,Pork,Lamb,Sheep,Fish,Potatoes,Rice,Eggs

Our diet…rice, lentils, limited eggs, limited chicken and meat and lots of white sugar in everything..no idea what protein intake should be.

Then comes exercise…cardio and equal amount of weight training.

Our training..cardio and ragda and very very limited if at all any weight training.

Lastly i think they are enhanced…some of them are too big with too less body fat to be natural.

I workout 5 days a week and never took steroids and have been weight lifting since 10-14 years now on and off..i eat non veg in every meal on every day..still i am no where the Marines..i am 180 cms @ 90 kgs with around 17% body fat.

Erring on the side of more protein than "recommended" is how you get big and why they're so big.

Our protein intake and diversity is lower than in Sub-Saharan Africa despite us generally having more resources.
