were they wearing helmets and comms or did they went for those cross border raids in sub militia conditions? also what kind of surveillance requires pointing 3 carl gustavs in ready to fire position broad open during daylight?
Maybe they weren't wearing, as they were radio dark and in thick camouflage also it was a long rugged treck.
Quite justified.

Pretty sure they were not wearing any helmets..Some of you might be young but we were told by Para SF guys that Helmets makes them slower.

Secondly,i would like to believe that pic is from the 2 week practice they had before the raid.

He's 100% correct , theres no sense in spending 1000 dollars on COMTACs and stuff just to display when you can just buy identical airsoft stuff for 1/10th the price .

Heck chinese 150 $ Vortex LPVOs look and feel exactly the same , only difference is the operating smoothness and ability to hold zero .
Imagine them using better material and designing more sturdier mounts they will have quality powered optics at 1/3rd the price .

I bought myself a K-zero chinese clone a year ago, put it through some rugged handling and it still holds very well. Some airsoft gear are quite good for their price. Even my G3 pants really haven't torn apart and the stitching is quite sturdy. The only chinese clone that did have the the "chinesium" characteristics was a super cheap LBT plate carrier (my first one) whose stitching came apart and the metal parts getting rusty.

Somogear NGALs also have been tested and they perform quite well for an airsoft LAM. Comtac clones don't have a good rep except some brands like tac-sky or earmor. Tac-sky has cheap comtacs and they hold really well for their price.

Optics I have no clue but most are really good for non-nvg use but I haven't seen one that'd work good under nods.

Tons of replicas out there of every real life gear, and most are good tbh.
