Let them build infra on war basis and actually starve Pak of water and Awam will appreciate.

Till then it's another jumla like CAA, NRC i.e promise big and then don't deliver and move on.

Water is not usually shared with neighbors by any nation. Especially with terrorists
You may have a soft spot for them but many don't.

Not shared but we normalised it since the Nehru time. To the point that it can be a questionable issue for some.
Nonetheless, I don't give a shit even if they're boiled on oven.

Other countries aren't weak like India in narrative making. Here we're talking about a whole country of Pakistan. It's a heavy job. Moreover, there are too many Mirjafars living inside to create instability & set Pakistan's narratives in a hope to undermine Modi. Country is the least of their concern.

This part... Im agreed. But we can hope opposition will support GOI when it comes to a war. Today in all party meet... INDIalliance have showed the support to GOI.

Mere eyewash. They be doing what they're supposed to do. See how Congress sent their Karyakarta in Kashmir masquerading them as tourists & giving interviews to garner support for the locals. Even in this critical times. So many exposes are there.

I said "Let them build" i.e I'm willing to wait for a couple of years and see if they actually walk the talk or chicken out like they did on NRC.

Temporary/small scale diversions can be done in the short term (like we have discussed on the other thread). Large scale diversions will take a decade and probably more.

There has been good progress on this front I would say. A number of tributaries have started drying up in pakiland - after we started building dams on a war footing especially post 2019. We still are not close to utilizing the entirety of the share allocated to us in the IWT - long way to go before we start gobbling up pak's shares too.

If the political leadership actually wants to get it done, they will.

Yeah, start the large scale projects also. It's not like you have to allocate the entire budget right away. The budget will be spread over multiple years for large scale projects.

Let's see if they start large scale projects in an year.
