Abdul Hakeem from Guruvayur has been arrested following a complaint filed by the Hindu Aikya Vedi .

This isn’t his first offense. His past actions include:

On January 12, 2017, health inspectors seized stale and spoiled food from his New Paradise Hotel. This was not the first incident; the hotel had been raided twice before, but those events were kept from public knowledge.

The hotel owner has also been accused of pelting stones at buses carrying Ayyappa devotees and installing hidden cameras in the hotel’s toilets.

Despite complaints being filed at the Guruvayur police station, political intervention reportedly suppressed these cases.

His recent arrest for desecrating the sacred Tulsi altar on CCTV shows a repeated pattern of unacceptable behavior.
