I think Israel miscalculated. If you compare this to the India-Pakistan conflict—where India bombed 11 airbases, 5 military installations, and even targeted nuclear sites inside Pakistan without facing any damage at all—Israel’s situation stands in contrast. In this case, Israel has suffered visible damage. It seems Israel underestimated Iran’s offensive capabilities, assuming they were weaker than Pakistan’s, and overestimated its own military strength, believing it to be greater than India’s. But that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Israel may have inflicted greater damage on Iran, but no one expected Israel to suffer this level of damage in return.

We already in western camp. US already has enough leverage against us. So, fall of Mullah regime is not changing that equation between US and India. The mask has come out in OP Sindoor ! There was never synergy in US - India relation. Under grab of mouth appeasing , US was under cutting India. To some extent it was expecting India to not buy Russia oil which we failed them. After Galwan , they expected us to take on China , we did not toe , so we are not useful for them and now almost out of their so called camp. The current Trump regime is helping us by distancing their (US) allies EU little bit and it has helped to create doubt that they need to think world with out US help for them.
