Operation Sindoor & Aftermath (73 Viewers)

I was wishing that we sneak in 1 or 2 prithvi's with BCES submunitions during op sindoor on Paki airbases.

Alas, while conventional warhead it's still under strategic forces command :awman:.
So it didn't see any action😑.

If we had a air launched missiles with this warhead, I'm sure IAF would have used it, given they even targeted Noor Khan and rawalpindi, that's how pissed IAF was.
Pralay maro yaar uspe bhi to hai anti randwe warhead 😩

I don't think there are any PAF squadrons or detachments stationed here during peacetime but during wartime when assets need to be dispersed then this one would serve detachments of JF-17 & Mirages.

Re why it has not been repaired so far, this airport was constructed with UAE royal family funding. They used to come here regularly for their hunting expeditions. I think Pakistan is just hoping that UAE will pay the repair costs when the hunting season is on this year or a visit is planned by them.

The interesting thing is the direct targeting of the VIP lounge area of Rahim Yar Khan. The damage was large enough to look like either a SCALP or a BRAHMOS strike. Looks like a very time-sensitive hit, you have to wonder who was there at that time.

The 1 to 10 Glide Ratio doesn't work at such high altitude of 50,000. It maxes out atmost 20-Km and above that its not optimistic. So you can get atmost 200km Glide and add on to a 200-Km range impartation initially by a Rocket, it would easily give 400km. The Booster need to be designed to burn slowly without unnecessary high speed and high altitude with as much low MTOW as possible.
if you want a cheap weapon that can give ranges of 500+km.
Then subsonic cruise missiles/drones are the best option as far as options go.

The new russian
The Banderol, also known as the S8000, stealthy cruise missile/loitering munition is a good example that, it blurs the line between cruise missile and drones.
The Russian name Banderol approximately translates to package, or small parcel, in English.
It can also be launched from male/hale drones and helicopters.

According to Defense Express report on May 12, the S8000 missile has a reported range of up to 500 kilometers and a top speed of 650 km/h
It has ~120kg warhead.
It is made from hodgepodge of cheap chinese and commercial grade western components.
Due to their commercial nature it's also Harder restrict those components.
It also uses a cheap commercial grade chinese turbojet engine.
the missile is powered by the SW800Pro jet engine, manufactured by Chinese company Swiwin and sold on online platforms like AliExpress and Alibaba for around £12,000.

The cost entire this missile is estimate to be 150k on the low end and 300k US dollars on the high end.

It also has "gps"(🇺🇲)guidance 😂.
Along with glonass, baidu.
Also has inertial navigation system.
Terrain following.
Along with made up of composites with radar cross section reducing shaping.

For comparison, Storm shadow/scalp has unit cost of around 1-1.5 million dollars.
Max range 550km, top speed 0.9 mach, warhead 450 kg.
Excalibur extended range artillary shell has unit cost of 70k-100k us dollars.

NewsLundary wants a "reset" of India Pakistan ties.

Newslaundry wants Modi Govt to woo Pakistan’s imaginary liberal class: Why India must reject the new-age ‘Aman ki Asha’ delusion

Despite Pakistan's Islamist deep state and military stranglehold, Newslaundry is pushing for cultural engagement based on flimsy notions of liberal youth. But India's policy must be guided by security realities, not sentimental illusions of cross-border harmony.

Indeed, we need to bend over & widen our butt cracks more than ever before after a terrorist attack.

Modi "regime" is de-humanising terrorists. ALso Indians celebrating their modest success's is "counter productive" & stopping piss in south asia.

Yet another article to soften the image of this terrorist nation.

The author is pained by Indian "regime"s hard stance.

If only Mouni Mohan were at the helm, he liked the British very much & as a consequence, liked British creations aka Pakistan also very much. He would not have allowed mere distractions such an anti Hindu pogrom sponsored by Pakistan to impact ties.

How dare we?

Is it wrong to say that may 7-10 strikes on porkistan by india would have also targeted PAFF and TRF bases in POK as well?? or they are well within protection of pork army?

They are made up of their serving/ex servicemen, they are pak fouj proper.

Initially, I thought all the targets in Pakistan were hit solely by the Air Force, but I’ve now learned that the majority were actually struck by Indian Army artillery regiments using M777 howitzers equipped with Excalibur GPS-guided shells.

Not a fan of having bunker busters on a BM. BMs usually have a large CEP and unless loaded with a monstrous warhead (near low yield nuke capacity), it would require volleys of them and some luck to neutralize a bunker. Not very practical since volleys of BMs can be misconstrued as a pre-emptive nuke strike leading to disastrous consequences. A heavy-duty CM maybe a better option, but not sure if it's feasible to be used as a bunker buster both from a warhead size and kinetic energy/penetration perspectives.
7.5 ton is a monstrous bomb.

Hypersonic Cruise Missile will be much better for chinis, Subsonics I dont see survive much in longer flights.

Nirbhay is ideally suited for less denser air defense networks.

You are probably right. Much of the Chinese population and industrial base is with 300 to 500 miles of the coast line of South China Sea. A cruise missile at that distances does not work properly. A missile has to be loaded in a submarine(s) and brought to China Sea.

Irrespective of hitting multiple terror camps, porkistan army never stopped harbouring terrorists, even though GOI issued severe warnings post Operation Sindoor ceasefire nothing has changed on ground in PoK. Terror launch pads are reactivated, infiltrators continue to sneakin, BATs are waiting to launch an assualt. Everyone interested discussing past glory but we forget about the current threat still in existence
Not once or twice, we striked at 3 different incidents since 2016, Striking terrorist camps never created a deterence. Enough we stop fooling ourselves, unless we start pushing the LoC boundary porkistan will not learn anything. After every attack porkistan must lose/pay us with strategically key location at LoC.

Are there any gems of that homo AIM?
He's basically the Dhruv Tatti of the right and a massive US dalla but i couldn't find anything specific but everyone bashes him over the dalali.

Anyone associated with orf is suspect. There's a whole elafda going on now between Jaipur diálogues and Ankit Shah. He exposed them and they obviously didn't like it so from attacking him personally they now went to attackinf Jains and Jainism. We need something like this to know who is becoming and making a c out of others on this side.

A personal theory regarding IAF's takedown of PAF AWACS (please correct me if I'm misrepresenting the timeline of events): The biggest advantage that PAF had over IAF was in terms of AWACS. So it was very plausible that IAF wanted to take this advantage out very quickly, as these AWACS would have guided the volley of missiles that PAF launched in the initial engagement, which may have hit one or two of our aircraft (and several decoys and drones we launched).

To achieve this, the S-400 was utilised, and the PAF promptly deployed their AWACS alongside civilian airlines, thereby halting our targeting efforts. This was confirmed by Wing Commander Vyomika Singh on May 9. If we had shot a civilian aircraft, then that would have been a major embarrassment for us.

So we did some more intelligence tracking and some international threatening, and PAF had to stand down from using civilian aircraft as a shield. That very night, one AWACS was taken out of the air by S-400 or at least damaged near the Dinga village in Pakistan.

PAF couldn't take any further risk and decided to push their remaining AWACS to a far-off base so that IAF wouldn't target them. And once they landed, India again bombed them with BrahMos, destroying or damaging their second AWACS.

So it became a Catch 22 situation where most of their AWACS can't either fly (because of long-range SAMs) or even land (in case they catch a BrahMos or SCALP missile). The first AWACS takedown would have also prompted PAF to launch CM-400AKG strikes on potential S-400 sites, which again failed.

Clearly u dont know much then.

Using minimum values for BrahMos (Mach 2.8, 3430 m/s, ~1000 kg impact weight, 300 kg warhead) and maximum values for Tomahawk (Mach 0.74, 906 m/s, ~1000 kg impact weight, 450 kg warhead), BrahMos generates ~5.882 GJ kinetic energy, ~14.3 times higher than Tomahawk’s ~0.410 GJ, due to its supersonic speed. Tomahawk’s warhead delivers ~1.883 GJ, exceeding BrahMos’s ~1.255 GJ, but total energy favors BrahMos (~7.137 GJ vs. ~2.293 GJ, ~3.1 times higher). Propellant adjustments reduce BrahMos’s kinetic energy by ~60% (14.71 GJ to 5.882 GJ) and Tomahawk’s by ~23% (0.534 GJ to 0.410 GJ), yet BrahMos’s speed-driven kinetic dominance ensures greater destructiveness, despite Tomahawk’s larger warhead.

Above is the max values for latest Tomohawks and min values for Brahmos taken I for fact know latest Brahmos has speed closer to Mach 4+ but not calculating same.

Brahmos is a monster compared with a subsonic missile like Tomahawk its more comparable to Nirbhay…
Brahmos does not impact at super sonic speed . The speed is slower when approaching terminal flight because it's not possible to maneuver to evade defenses at that speed . This has been studied quite a bit in the practical world in the Russia Ukriane war with a lot of use of the Kinzhal missile by Russia . Theoretically they should not be able to be intercepted but they are even by old Patriots AD's because in the last stage of flight , they are much slower .

No.
