Operation Sindoor and Aftermath

I think DRDO has a better idea today of what they require vis-a-vis 5th gen tech.

If the Russians are going to give us decent tech wrt certification and mass production like advanced additive manufacturing, help establish test facilities, etc then I don't care if we go ahead with the Su-57s.

I'm sure the DRDO and thee government know what they want and what they have to extract out of the Russians.

Full tot and production here + Jv. And yes engine help .
DRDO is fine but i think aviation is handled mainly by HAL and ADA. both of them are useless unless we hire new blood with new vision and some how add accountability.

I think whole nato fought against Russia and they somehow came rising.
Same with india against Paki china turkey and us . We fought like warriors.

So quality is not issue but diplomacy and production.

Congratulations @FIELD MARSHAL SAHWNSTEIN , you have company. :pound:

Online talks in twitter , youtube says we used khagantak 225 glide bomb . There was a news of khagantak being integrated to su30 in April .. This glide bomb looks damn impressive. Only 243 kg , 108 kg warhead and range of 180km !! Hammer range for example is probably 70km . At 150-180 km standoff distance our aircrafts can safely lunch munition and return home .

There are many people who hates the idea of fifth generation fighter buy. May be they are porkis or anti india gang.

Who just don’t understand that next war will be two or three front. And it’s coming very soon.

India will be left with no defence without new procurements. May be buy current stage su57 m as mark 1 and meanwhile develope next few sqad for more Jv orientation.

But say in 5 years with Chinese 500 fifth gen fighters and Paki with 2 squad of fifth gen we will be lagging far behind.

All the trolls who will play their been of amca will be delayed. It’s already 25 years too late. We need to speed up that project separately.

Aur ye Jo baja baja rahe hain ki 2030 me ayega su57 . They have zero knowledge about war time industrialisations.

What if AMCA project will be just like LCA? We must prepare for that we need parallel units to Hal and ada.

The Su57 has already been rejected by the IAF 9283 times.

It's has been deemed inadequate by the IAF for their operational needs. Per reports at that time barely anything in the bird met IAF's requirements and almost everything had to be upgraded, from engine, to avionics to radar and much much more.

RKS Bhaduria, air chief at that time clearly said he doesn't want it.

I am not going to go on conspiracy theories about Dr. Jaishankar. But he did look a bit angry and not his usual cool self when he gave that briefing. He normally knows exactly what to say but not during that briefing. He must have been under a lot of stress because Pakis called out his BS and hit back with their military despite his unnecessary cautions to them. India’s foreign service has always been a bit naive when it comes to international diplomacy. I find them not knowing what to say and how to say it. They say things that the world does not understand or appreciate. Look at the kinds of people Americans appoint as top diplomats. They are proven leaders who can bend the narrative to their styles.
Jaishankar kept saying the targets were not paki military but he also kept saying paki military sent these terrorists. People can get confused as to why we have a strategy like this and this dents his credibility. Who are we trying to appease by making such statements? No one cares. The world would have appreciated more if we said the Paki military had a hand and just gone after them. I have said this before: making such gandhigiri type statements makes us look foolish. No one believes such statements from us. I say we stop with such statements. Not a single credible international press applauded us for not targeting the porki military. Did even pacifist Japan applaud our “principled” stand? This has not happened in the past either when we said the same during Pulwama attack that we are not targeting Paki military. Did this prevent the Pakis from targeting our military?
Why do we say such things? Why? The west no longer gives a shit about India due to our Russian positioning. So, why are we giving a shit about them? Strength respects strength. Do not do this unnecessary Gandhigiri. It is ridiculous.

Even if the Pakistani army were publicly humiliated and forced to surrender in front of international media, this corrupt and morally bankrupt institution would still manage to convince its already indoctrinated, uneducated populace that it had won the war. Pakistan’s core issue lies in its uneducated population, which has a tendency to unquestioningly submit to the authority of its army. Engaging them with logic is often futile. The promotion of Maulana Muneer serves as a clear example of this dynamic.

Worth only if they give us the source code. Period. The reply to Pakistan getting J-35 (if) is not Su-57, it is more robust air defence. The arguments for Su-57(won't get them for 3-4 years if ordered today) has to be clearer than a knee-jerk move. Without heavy Indian modifications like in the Su-30MKI, if will likely be an expensive albatross around our neck.

IAF has rejected Tejas as well!

And they will reject Amca as well.

They want top of the line. They are only asked to give opinions . Nobody cares what the top official think. Fly with what we can get and give your best. We have 150 crore people someone else is always available to take your job.

For them it’s either top or nothing at all.

That’s why we are at depleted squadron strength.

American European obsession won’t work! They want expensive jets for a nation which has limited resources. We will see what we can afford and what we can get

Quantity is more important also future is changing soon it will be ucav taking over manned jets.

I am for the multi party delegations especially after the fuck up from MEA. Everything about the way they handled Operation Sindoor is atrocious.

  • Press briefings
The foreign secretary, Vikram Misri appeared nervous and couldn't pronounce Hindi words during the presser. He started with floral language that wasn't media friendly in an environment where narrative is key.

Col. Qureshi and Wg Cdr. Singh lacked media training and appeared nervous or uncertain at times and often cutting into each other's thoughts. There appears to be no rehearsal, pre-briefings, etc to prepare them on body language, tone and objectives.

The whole briefing segments appeared ad hoc and lacked the finesse that the DGMOs brought to the table. This idea of 'Nari Shakti' virtue signaling was not welcomed by the West and didn't earn any brownie points from anyone besides WhatsApp boomers.

Later on it was found that his daughter Didon Misri was a legal aide to Rohingya refugees and he had to block his twitter account in disgrace due to trolling on SM.

  • Warning Pakistan before attacking the terror camps
Who the hell would do anything like this? You are telling the OPFOR that you are going to strike them and won't do any SEAD/DEAD and are expecting no response in good faith?

These MEA idiots almost setup the IAF for heavy losses. It's a small miracle that we only have 2 probably losses (Rafale - Bhatinda, Punjab and Mig 29UPG - Ramban, J&K).

This happens to be the only criticism from Tom Cooper regarding Operation Sindoor.

Criticism of Vikram Misri because of his daughter is uncharitable and meaningless. His daughter makes her own choices.

Where did you get that we warned Pakistanis before? From Rahul Gandhi's English comprehension? At the start is not the same as before the start.

Even assuming that the above is true, how is it the EAM's or FS's fault? They would do it independently of the PM, RM & the NSA?

Many people are confused about the way geopolitical events are unfolding, particularly their implications on India’s national security. To understand the seemingly confused state of current geopolitics, you first will have to understand why Donald Trump was allowed to become the president of the United States without any resistance from the globalists. Those who remember his first term, would recall that his entire presidency was marred with daily conflicts with the globalists. In a stark contrast to his first term, the current term is running smoothly and we do not hear any complaints from the globalists except for some token reminders. Why?

Trump and globalists have reached a compromise. Under this compromise, Trump has autonomy over immigration, immigrants, tariffs on India, and few other things. On the subjects of Russia, Iran, tariffs on China, and few other things that are vital to globalists; Trump will have no say.

Now, it becomes important to understand why the globalists were inclined to cut a deal with Trump. To understand this, we will have to understand why Biden was favored over Trump in the previous election. Globalists held the belief that, if they could keep Trump out of the way, and with a pliant man in charge (Biden), they would be able to bring United States’ full might to fore to shape global geopolitics to their advantage. This strategy failed miserably. The objective of globalists under Biden presidency was to defeat Russia. Obviously Russia was not defeated. On the contrary, Russia is winning. Those of you who have followed Russia - Ukraine war already know that globalists did everything they could to bring Russia to its knees but at the end Russia survived.

Once globalists realized that Russia was winning and there was not much they could do about it. They decided to put the Project Russia on the back burner for the time being. I was concerned that they may pick Project India to execute during the Trump presidency. But to my relief, they picked Project Iran instead. Yes, my readers, Iran is the objective that needs to be achieved during Trump’s current term.

Globalists realized that last time many countries including India defied their diktats and therefore their attempts to isolate Russia did not work out as expected. So they felt a need to create an image of Trump as a strong man. They figured this would have psychological effect on world leaders and thus the affected leaders of interest could be persuaded to do things in the favor of globalists. Let us see how it would pan out.

Coming back to Iran, which is the main result globalists want Trump to produce; globalists want Trump to end the Russia - Ukraine war so that globalists can focus on Iran. In an ideal outcome for globalists, Russia would drop Iran as an ally, which would make it easier for globalists to take on Iran. And after Iran is taken care of, they (globalists) can always come back to Project Russia. Of course, there will be a new president and a new facade after Trump leaves the office.

Globalists were not as infuriated with India during Biden’s presidency, because they believed that India would come around eventually. Now they are infuriated; conflict with Pakistan should be seen under this light. In my humble opinion, and after gauging the globalist viewpoints, I formed an impression, they were wishing for a light nuclear exchange between India and Pakistani. This would have served two-purpose: first, dampen India’s spirit; second, emphasize the perils of nuclear arms in the wrong hands such as Iran. A narrative that Iran with nuclear weapons was a danger to “civilized western world” would have been perfect for preparing American people for a military conflict with Iran.

As Trump presidency continues, we will see movements in following directions:
  1. A ceasefire in Russia - Ukraine war, ideally which would leave Russia at a disadvantage. So that globalists can restart the work on Project Russia down the road
  2. Pressuring India, Russia and others to cut ties with Iran.
  3. If Russia does not agree to cut its ties with Iran, US will continue to fund Ukraine
  4. If India does not cut its ties with Iran, globalists will continue to aid Pakistan. Note, US will not directly help Pakistan. Because US wants to maintain an image of being a friend
  5. Tariff on India will continue as a means to further pressure India
