I remember that you mentioned but the user did do India v kanglus.
In anycase it must have been a while back TN has 4000-5000 PCI today.

I believe I have some bangladeshis living near my house in Mysore. They (around 30-50 people) all have settled here for maybe 3-5 years and got work in sewage water treatment plant. When I asked them about their origin, they said they were from Assam. Is there any way to inform the Authorities. Is it even worth to inform them? If yes, which authority/ department should I contact?
If I have assumed wrong and they are legit Assamese? Will i get into trouble?

Contact your local elected representatives like parshad or MLA's subordinates, take few of your neighbours with you too.

Contact local RSS shakha. Or some other pro H organization. Although truth be told, it is insanely difficult to differentiate between Assamese Miyas and kanglus.

In Kerala, I've seen mallus employing Assamese( few/some/most maybe bangladeshis) especially in Bakeries. I guess for cheap labour.
Even mallu bakery owners in Mysore do the same.
I have observed, NE MULLAS/ Bangladeshis take niche jobs like Chat centres, Bakeries, waste collection and waste management facilities. Do the work which is not touched by most Indians .
Has anyone in the group seen similar stuff. Share your observations.

The guy who toured us on Ross island on e-rickshaw (authorised) last year was also claiming to be an Assamese although with a typical bangladeshi style name. And I am pretty sure he was a kanglu since Andamans are filled with East Bengal Hindu refugees and rest are Tamils who are on the main island. He didn't have any NE phenotype either. But then again, in such situations you can't do anything.

No, that night not be the case. Assamese Miyas are indistinguishable from Kanglus. Even locals won't be able to distinguish between them without a detailed investigation/background check. Some of those miya muslims were settled by the brits, the rest migrated from the erswtwhile East bengal. Post independence, some miyas have settled illegally.

It is incredibly incredibly difficult to screen out the kanglus from amongst them coz they are the same people, basically. The same holds true for the Ms of Malda, Murshidabad and 24 parganas districts of Bengal - they speak the same dialect, look the same etc.
