In the meantime this idiot has made the main tweet viral Lol They just yap & cheer each other just to hide their frustration & the sheer dehumanisation going on against them worldwide. Let them die like mosquitoes. Nobody sympathizes with them. They're very low on intelligence, short sighted, low on analytical skill & try to manipulate the reality for small time satisfaction. That's what Twitter has turned into nowadays.
They can hardly imagine what will happen to them even if 10% of Indians start to engage them in social media, which will happen eventually as the time goes.
India has filth but their whole religion & existence is surrounded by filth, deprivation attesting to never ending materials. Indians need to grow a thick skin & stop being sensitive. Indians need to pound then very hard.

Look at the NSCN movement . They're openly extorting money plus if I'm not mistaken the Indian state is paying them for their upkeep thru slush funds.

Look at Mizoram & the way they defy the centre or the armed confrontation they had with Assam a few years earlier or their declaration of solidarity with the Kukis in Manipur with whom they share tribal kinship.

They actually displaced the only Hindu / Buddhist / animist group - the Brus living there since centuries only because they wouldn't convert & belong to a different tribe as compared to the Mizos . What's more they didn't want them settled in Tripura on the border with Manipur.

Now mizo separatists had a political leader heading the seccessionism and under him were generals who lead the battle.

By the time Ajit Doval was done neogtiating, the political leader was left with only 2 generals under him and rest had been taken away by Ajit Doval. The political leader accepted defeat and went to live with his masters in London.

As a compromise mizoram was seperated from Assam and given statehood.

Now these generals had become politicians who kept their party ideology based on said seccessionist ideology (like DMK in TN).

To fund their parties and fight elections, these parties used to rely on drug smuggling and extortion on common people.

Indian gormint started crackdown on drugs. These parties saw their money river drying up and hence their dissatisfaction with Central gormint.

These parties then started extorting even more from common people, so much so that young people started leaving their hometown and went westwards.(Losing the sympathy from locals which is critical for guerilla warfare)

Enter 4G and 5G network rollout throughout Bharat. Young people started seeing the high life everytime they opened their phone and wanted a piece of it and left their homes for better economic opportunities. ( Economic migration of eastern states people should be clearly visible to people who live in cities)

They started watching web series which glamourised higher education and white collar jobs and sarkari jobs. Movies and series of Indian achievements which filled them with pride of being identified as an Indian.

The socioeconomic detachment of the younger generation from the previous one is so much that old people are now writing articles on pro separatist news website BEGGING young people to join an insurgency which is dying but no young person is turning up.

On the other side young people are trying to enter colleges, join military and CAPFs.

As far as slush funds are concerned, my guess would be to keep them afloat and not start the insurgency again and do some side gigs so BSF does not get charged with human rights violations against greens.

Above template can be applied to every 7 sister states.

This is my perspective, I would greatly appreciate yours or anyone else's view on it.

Not all insurgencies followed a similar trajectory. The NSCN (IM) has been the biggest obstacle to peace in the Naga dominated areas & continues to be so.

As a compromise mizoram was seperated from Assam and given statehood.

Statehood was conferred when we signed an accord in 1987. It was carved out as a UT from Assam much earlier , way back in 1972.

Now these generals had become politicians who kept their party ideology based on said seccessionist ideology (like DMK in TN).

To fund their parties and fight elections, these parties used to rely on drug smuggling and extortion on common people.

There may be isolated incidents but they earn more thru skimming the various funds & grants the centre passes on to them for development purposes with both aware of this phenomenon but the centre choosing to look the other way. True of every single state in the NE but unlike Nagaland , Meghalaya & Mizoram for different reasons , the other states don't hold the centre to ransom or defy them.

True mostly of groups in Manipur , Nagaland & Arunachal Pradesh where the culprits are mostly the Nagas & now the Kukis. If we don't stop the practice other ethnic groups & separatist organisations championing their cause will be encouraged.

Not sure that is the case. This isn't to say that groups like the NSCN don't charge an individual tax from the locals which is deeply resented but these extortion drives earn most of their revenue targeting external agencies who go there to implement central schemes like road & railway building , power projects , etc.

People usually migrate out due to no employment opportunities especially the educated ones which pretty much includes all the younger generation.

Barring the Kukis & Meiteis for obvious reasons , other groups are contented with the status quo . I don't see any overt calls to pick up the gun by other ethnicities out there including the Nagas usually the most recalcitrant of the entire lot there.

True though I'm not sure many there are joining the armed forces including the CAPFs in droves. The recruitment pattern remains constant without registering any noticeable growth primarily due to quota based recruitment.

The greens are a different issue altogether. We won't go soft on them the way we have on the other insurgents out there & the greens know it through bitter experience.

But we do tolerate the other groups & their rackets . That's our way of keeping the peace.
