When we should have been proactive and eliminate any threat before it comes to our house. The BSF guys look hopelessly outnumbered to prevent any infiltration with this type of borders. No wonder we are having millions of illegals inside already.

And Malda is a mus majority district (51% as per 2011 census and probably 60%+ now)

The fencing should have been done as a topmost priority long time back.

Secondly the only reason they're overtly aggressive was there was a border guard from BD present. Arguably that's what also saved them else we'd have got to see a corner article in papers who bother to carry such news - 1 infiltrator killed , 4 seriously injured in attack on BSF jawan. BD border guards launch strong protest. Situation there tense.

North Maldah district is Hindu majority and most are either scheduled caste or Adivasis who have no love for Kanglu muslims. The sitting MP is Khagen Murmu from BJP. South Maldah is hub of jehadis and scary place filled with criminals - from smuggler to narco to terrorism.
