Yes.Ak underfolders are cool only for looks.Side folders and fixed stocks are better ones.Aren't under folding stocks the most unstable ones?

underfolding stock on the AK was taken directly from german MP-40, as Mikhail Kalashnikov was a fan of that design, he just made it underfolding one from overfolding on MP-40; and those pattern AKs were mostly meant for paratroopers, tank-IFV etc vehicle crews and combatants etc rest regular infantry was supposed to go with fixed stock AKsAren't under folding stocks the most unstable ones?
Good to finally have you back, was missing your insightsunderfolding stock on the AK was taken directly from german MP-40, as Mikhail Kalashnikov was a fan of that design, he just made it underfolding one from overfolding on MP-40; and those pattern AKs were mostly meant for paratroopers, tank-IFV etc vehicle crews and combatants etc rest regular infantry was supposed to go with fixed stock AKs
but since we imported the heck out of AKs during 90s post USSR fall world where they were willing to sell their surplus and all, we just inducted whatever was available for cheap and ended up with plethora of these underfolder AKs
prior to that if you'd check pics of AKs in SF service here, they got hungarian underfolding AKs for paratroopers which seems a fine placement
Actually the underfolders you mentioned from Ussr was issued to Capfs and later police only.Army went with East German Mpi72s and later Romanian side folders.Except few captured Type 56s or very rare Russian ones army don’t have underfolders.underfolding stock on the AK was taken directly from german MP-40, as Mikhail Kalashnikov was a fan of that design, he just made it underfolding one from overfolding on MP-40; and those pattern AKs were mostly meant for paratroopers, tank-IFV etc vehicle crews and combatants etc rest regular infantry was supposed to go with fixed stock AKs

How did Colt IAR end up here?
May be part of ar procured by ofb to test their 5.56 ammo(iar in bottom)Maybe a piece or two came with the Colt CM901 batch when we're trialing every single rifle in the world to select the next assault rifle. Like those Steyr AUGs
If that's the case then there would definitely be a RFI lying somewhere because not even a screw gets procured without following the complete bureaucratic messMay be part of ar procured by ofb to test their 5.56 ammo(iar in bottom)
This Guy is standing on the crossroads of Kalashnikov and AR-15s. He gets answer to this one question and then never again would return to the other gunhow does gun cocking work ? do we have to cock it every time new mag is loaded or just the first time? i have seen some videos where only the first time it's cocked , then on mag reload it's not cocked again
@VictorDelta4
Please don't make me do this! Its too much power to have for someone like me!This Guy is standing on the crossroads of Kalashnikov and AR-15s. He gets answer to this one question and then never again would return to the other gun
Indoctrinate him @VictorDelta4 to join Club Stoner
@Ayan Barat will explain this. He makes really good diagrams to explain as well.how does gun cocking work ? do we have to cock it every time new mag is loaded or just the first time? i have seen some videos where only the first time it's cocked , then on mag reload it's not cocked again

Absolutely not, you've been chosen by the universe to tell him the immense power this Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Doohickey has and how it completely blows the other gun out of the waters@Ayan Barat will explain this. He makes really good diagrams to explain as well.
@Yuyutsu what Ayan means is if your gun doesn't have a bolt hold open and a release catch, you're poor.Absolutely not, you've been chosen by the universe to tell him the immense power this Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Doohickey has and how it completely blows the other gun out of the waters

so basically AK is just made for suicide missions like for jihadis? if you don't have bolt hold and release you are waiting to be gunned down faster by ARs.@Yuyutsu what Ayan means is if your gun doesn't have a bolt hold open and a release catch, you're poor.
