Small Arms and Weapons

What support and ecosystem!?
No one's running a Ladli Bullpup Sahyog Yojna just because you aren't getting sales 😏

The sole reason they're able to do this is that they've 2nd Amendment and a huge huge potential customer base to cater. That's it
Yup that is what I meant. If only we had a gun culture along with a market base. Till then desi katta goes brrrrrrr!

Do you have any idea what the Indonesian contingent is carrying during the March Past, is it there Pindad SS2 painted as white or our INSAS, thanks can't find better picture.

Are you really comparing us to Switzerland, Finland, Slovenia?
You're the first to compare USA; where you can buy everything from a pistol to a full auto M2 machine gun in a mall with no limit with India; where it's capped at three and virtually you can't own anything other than handgun, shotgun and bolt action rifles; and those too after a process so tedious that at some point you'd feel of ditching this and having a trip to Munger.

So process will basically remain the same.
And No automatic rifles.
Yeah that's ok.

There would be multiple massacare every day if we had gun laws like USA

It's not this, it's that you would have a proliferation of muh jaat, muh mazhub, muh language armed rebels chimping out all over the country because of muh legal gunz.

We see couple of days back the 12-14 Naxals who were sent to Marx, their weapons were 2x SLRs and 5-6 ancient non-automatic rifles.

Just imagine if it was muh 2nd amendment here, gun merchants stonks would go up and the country would be in pieces, since every bunch of retards could now get the good sht, even better than what the security forces would have, no need to even do mujras infront of CIA or Chinese, just go out and buy from 5 places.

Switzerland has mandatory conscription ,I believe ,so does Finland ..
That's more of a correlation than causation. South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Russia...all have mandatory conscription yet abysmal or even no civilian firearms ownership at all.

The only conclusion one can draw from the mandate of conscription and high civilian ownership in countries like Switzerland or Finland is that most of the people would be highly trained in firearms instead of having it just for the sake of having it like we see in the States.

Don't the Terrorists in Manipur and Khalistani already have the automatic rifiles despite strict laws? The only people that are not able to have it are the ones that get either killed by these groups because 1) they don't have the option to buy these guns "legally" and 2) Government failed to protect them.

What if law abiding civilians could own guns legally ?
Ans: A lot massacres would have been avoided in Manipur, kashmir, Punjab, Chattisgarh, Bengal etc.

All such """law abiding citizens""" would tomorrow join some retarded rebel group based on muh jaat, language, caste etc.

There are also many """"citizens"""" also coming from across the fence, getting aadhar and voter id easily, such """"citizens"""" may also pass all BaCkGrOuNd ChEcKS and become legal owners of 3-4 AKs

No use peddling your Burger arguments here, when even said Burgers get massacred with some psycho with AR-15 irrespective of their 2nd amendment. :bplease:

Your arguments are on the lines of "Lets legalize drugs since nashedis obtain their wares anyway" many such derivatives can be made of "let's legalize x since y happens anyway".

Assumptions..are something that can not be answered. People assume dragons are real and make billions in movies selling those assumptions. You my friend are selling your argument. I am not buying it.

Alright, let me give you one single example.
Let's way war with pakistan is started, it's conventional.
Now those kuki, metei groups, naxals also khalistani will use this opportunity and potential other separatist groups will emerge specially in regions like Chhattisgarh, south india etc.
But the biggest opposition population wise will come from the Muslims, now imagine if these Muslims had assault rifles or even shot guns in large no. Even if army and police are able to manage it, still countless civilians will die and lastly this is only a part of the problems that will arise in war with pakistan.
There were will countless problems in peace time too with liberal gun laws.

> No one here is asking to get 2nd Amendment; the point was the proposed capping of three to just one. Don't know from which message you got the idea that we're discussing AR-15s in Smart Bazaar.
> We have had multiple wars with Pakistan but never have seen a nationwide mobilization of Muslim population; it will definitely happen, especially in Jammu & Kashmir in the form of lonewolf sabotage attacks but in no way like what you're theorizing.
> Not just religion but every single way in which a population can be divided can potentially create a fringe group with some even armed. Farmers can take up arms against Zamindaars (the initial days of Naxal movement), the Zamindaars can take up arms against Naxals (Ranvir Sena)...and so on. As long as a society is kept "alive" instead of turning it into a walking corpse where every single internet search, all faces, all movement are state controlled like China these things would keep happening, and on macro level its fine.
> Tell me you know nothing about arms license in India without telling me.
Here's a "go touch grass" experiment for you; order something from abroad and try clearing it in the customs. Now multiply that hassle by hundred and that's what it typically takes to get just one license. Not to mention the regular procedures you must comply to keep that license. We ain't Murica Buddy where the only document you need is an age varication certificate.
> Kuki/Metei/Naxal/Khalistani/Pakistani Separatists are a will problem, not some technologically advanced adversary we can't deal with. The recent anti-Naxal operations in Maharashtra and Sarp Vinaash are proof that it'd hardly take a couple of months.
