But he is advocating for assault rifles to be given to civilians, and I'm pretty sure he would like them to be easily accessible.

I think he is worried about voilance and crime hikes when indian get abundance of gun same in India as american have

I believe what @Ayan Barat wants to say is where now with so many hicup to get even ww1 era revolver you have to go through so much so solution most of the firearms with millitant , gangster and illegal element have illegally imported weapons in up in encounter turkish handguns were recovered

with khalistan AK were recovered all are smuggled in India

I know that @Ayan Barat is not advocating for US like laws, and I do support him advocating for less stringent, more faster and streamlined process of acquiring fire arms( limited to SMLE's, shotguns, handgun).

But the guy I was replying to before was talking about allowing assault rifles to civilians and @Ayan Barat saw my reply but did not see the message of the guy I was replying.
