Sports - India & Indians

Remember how Athletico Madrid competed so well against Real Madrid and Barcelona for multiple years in the last decade even though their resources were a fraction of them?

When you don't have the $$$$, you must ensure that the coaching and support system is extremely efficient and top notch like Diego Simeone did for Athleti.

You are admitting yourself that India's Football management screwed up. It's better to fix it than keep asking for more $$$$. Indian Football needs to realise that nobody is going to pour $$$$ into them till they draw eyeballs.
yes....look at women football condition. we r loosing with nepal nd bangladesh teams😂.
In sports, i still think only 5-10% of our population take part as career. i mean in india mostly stadiums nd some school involved in creating or involving students in sports. stadium nd that type of schools mostly present in cities. so most population who play any kind of sports, never participate in career building path. we can only become serious in sports, if children is choosen/observe from childhood in school for a sport. nd it should be happen in village schools also. personally i m good cricket player...who can fast bowl (at 130+ kmph bowling) nd even do batting well. same with football. i can play good football as central nd defensive midfielder.....but its too late for me now start to think about to roll in my city stadium. before that i hv no option to join stadium or any good school. i see many far better player than me. if they get chance from childhood, they can become a good sport player. i see good player in badminton, snooker, chess, basketball, TT etc in my surrounding.

Bruh, this is disrespectful. They often struggle against lower ranked teams because they do not always field the best XI in those competitions. Indian women's NT, unlike their male counterparts, are actually good; boast of footballers who have played in some of the elite European Leagues out there and can give some European teams a run for their money on their day;

They are ranked in the 60s btw. Not an apple to apple comparison but our men's NT have remained well outside top 100 for 6 years in a row now.

That is the case everywhere. Even in the great burgerland.
