yeah we indians are just too nice and also it was not a win win as magnus dominated most of the game but its gukis first win against magnus.I know the tweet.
Gukesh quoting it would be epic. Gukesh won't as he's too nice.

Indian Football is cooked. The teams which were in the similar ranking with us have started to qualify for WC and improved their rankings and we have fallen way behind.
We really need a team like 1983 Indian cricket team. Who endured all the hardship and won the Cricket WC and inspired many others and now we are a beast in cricket. We really need someone like kapil dev and Sunil gavasakr in Indian football to inspire us.
We need a team which will qualify and play at least one World cup that's it. Qualification for fifa world cup will remove any mental blocks and instill confidence in us. Even IF we don't win, it will inspire many youngsters. And if we cannot qualify for WC we have to start dominating in asia and try to win AFC.
I also must say GOV should seriously look into improving Indian football. If properly guided and supported by GOV it will become popular and ISL can become as famous as IPL and even surpass it.
Point is something has to be done now. Talent and money is not the problem, proper and sustained management is needed and guidance is required now. Lethargy and "chalt hain" attitude must be uprooted.
Ignore the clickbait title. Raises many valid points.

i don't know much about indian football but when i see them playing they run so fkking slow for some reason. never saw such pace in any other international event. It's a total shit show with Indian Football and I feel like we Indians no longer understand the game of Football at all.
One of the biggest problem is the absence of a cohesive tactical identity. Players would abandon structured play of short passes after the opening 5-10 minutes. What starts as a passing game quickly devolves into individual runs toward the goal, with each player seemingly trying to be the hero. This "every man a striker" mentality leads to:
Poor decision-making in the final third Missed opportunities due to lack of coordination A breakdown in midfield controlPlayers suffers from Sunney Deol Syndrome where everyone try to score by themselves and act like Sunny Deol uprooting a handpump in Gadar.
Even when players do reach the opposition box, composure vanishes. Instead of calculated finishes, we see wild, powerful shots that miss the target entirely. There is:
lack of training in situational awareness Poor shooting technique under pressure Absence of a clinical striker’s mindset
