I like mountains best in monsoon . Lush green, soothing landscape , crisp air brimming with prana . Most beautiful most rejuvenating (but most dangerous as well) . My personal fav. routes & places in that season :

> Almora to Kausani (via Kosi , Someshwar etc.)
> Kausani to Ranikhet (via Someshwar , Bagwalipokhar etc.)
> Bhowali to Kainchi Dham
> branch road to Jageshwar Dham from Pithoragarh highway
> Padampuri to Bhimtal
> drive to Sattal
> Naintal ofc

Wish I could go more interior next time into Chaukori Munsyari during monsoon .

yeah 100%....ur most welcome in uttarakhand🙏. where r u from? yes most beautiful time for visiting pahads is rainy seasons. every where u see greenary, small fountains nd even fresh smell of forest (dont know exactly whats that smell😂). but yeah rainy season is most dangerous also, due to land sliding etc.

Technically , I am from a Haryana city originally (informally just an extension of Delhi) . Thanks . And surely not like those brash dilli haryana kind that has been causing a lot of simmering discontent among many pahadis .

That fresh foresty smell I completely get that . That high is also what draws me there .
