Don't expect anything from NAL whose funding is even poorer than Mumbai City Corporation income. Those guys took some 20 years to dust off the HANSA Trainer to HANSA NG only to get torpedoed by Canadians when Rotax declined to sell the engine stating possible Military use. (YES, apart from China all western countries were started to do shadow ban certain products, machinery). The same rotax engine is being used in Hermes drones, MQ1. Now whatever they tried to sell, is stopped due to this.

SARAS is on cold storage post 2021. RTA is on paper only, we don't even know whether they sent them to MOD/Civil Aviation Dept.

Why pursue all these projects? IMO better to be realistic. Choose 1 or 2 projects with good prospects of success. Get them to succeed. Move forward from successes. It is pointless aimlessly pursuing projects with little chance of success left, right and centre.

Just follow the rules for air accident investigation! It seems India has not, giving rise to doubt about the investigation. PS IIRC investigators from countries involved typically set off for the crash site within hours of the crash.

SARAS is somewhat still alive tbh. They were going to do some test on its second prototype this year. And are planning to do the test flight by 2027.

It is ICAO, the international authority. It is normal, too, for the aircraft constructor to participate. It knows more about the design and parts in the aircraft than any other entity in the world. The investigation is led by an Indian authority. The report resulting from the investigation will be written by an Indian authority. What are your grounds for complaint?
