From an Alpha Defence article, that is a Rajput class destroyer.
Link plz... Also how is that related to this NGMV?

Designs from different Shipyards:
1. GSL:

OrMy only doubt with this design is the missiles in the middle of the deck don't seem to be. Won't they be too big to place in middle? Either it is NASM-MR or GlideFire but even if it comes out to
then also no issue.
This one looks like Saryu class only, where did you get these?
Old Information from previous forum. Mostly proposal from some Defence show. This one looks like Saryu class only, where did you get these?
I don't get this NGOPV bullshit. Why does a ship-starved Navy like ours have (semi)unarmed ships?.. Especially when the design can apparently hold& there's a 30m shorter & 1000t lighter version that can serve as missile-cutter readily available!

Even the 2300t OPV platform will perfectly replace the old ones...View attachment 9300
Let Coastguard keep the NGOPV as befits their role.View attachment 9297
Even Sachi class design would be fine, lotta space in the rear for some VLS

Two different designs
Ngmv were supposed to carry 8 brahmos in total right ?(Part 2)

Exactly but according to the new poster from the metal cutting video it looks like they are going to carry 4 (replacing the styx on kukri class)Ngmv were supposed to carry 8 brahmos in total right ?
Ig there was a pic with 4 slant brahmos missilesExactly but according to the new poster from the metal cutting video it looks like they are going to carry 4 (replacing the styx on kukri class)
See how similar it looks to kukri class
Ngmv

Kukri class ship
View attachment 18746
Styx weight 2.5 tonnes so it nearly similar in weight to brahmos thus not impacting the balance of new ship too much
Thus we can take a guess that ngmv is just an evolved kukri class with better air defence and land attack capabilities
And newer electronics and new main radar (vlsrsam one)
Earlier models did have 8 brahmos configurationIg there was a pic with 4 slant brahmos missiles
