It would cost them $50-$100 Million to develop a LHD version of their existing RHD platforms. Then they need to study the markets and be sure that they can manage sales in LHD markets.

Tata tried with LHD version of Indica in Europe but failed to have any meaningful sales.​

Assembly line changes needs to be updated. Also Mahindra build only for RHD, there will be some wiring changes when trying to build LHD car, meaning money.
