China military and weapon development

And that agile su27M has a higher chance of getting blown of by a heat seeking missile than it would have if it had a deep s duct, it would reduce maneuverability but overall still increase survivability, as your chances of engaging in bvr and wvr combat are vastly higher than dog fight.
F-22 carries less BVR missiles than Su-57 and much less than Su-27M, and even infrared Air to air missiles they carry only 2 while Su-27M 4, so I ask you how many Su-30 are flying and how many F-22 are flying?

The problem is stealth makes heavier aircraft with less weapons thus you need F-15X, in few words in real life weapons carriage inpacts that fighters like SU-35 or F-15 are still in production regardless F-22 theoretically can down more fighters since in real life AAMs also fail

Again, the downside is not big enough for s duct to be deemed not superior.
Especially when f15 does exist as a missile truck.

No technology is superior

Technology is based upon what it is needed, radar intake blockers work as S serpentine intake ducts do, both systems have advantages and disadvantages, and in war the winner exploits his weapons advantages and minimizing its weaknesses.

The Russians wanted speed and that meant a radar blocker with less curved intake duct, variable geometry intake, RAM coatings and planform alignment for the caret intake, these allowed more weapons bays, if Su-57 is used properly it will succeed but if the enemy uses its disadvantages it might gotten beaten.

Indian Air Force made wise decision 15 yrs ago, they rather wait another 20 yrs for AMCA than accepting this enhanced version of Su35;

Except excellent maneuverability, the stealth ability and avi-electronics were no where near the current 5th Gen fighters like F22, F35, J20, J35.

After 2022 Ukrine war, the western sanctioned all the electronic components, made the Su57 even crippler than the first batch.

Good show in Zhuhai anyway

Technological superiority depends on the environment and need, and in the current modern air warfare environment s ducts are superior, that's a fact.
There's a reason that US, France, Europe, china and even india chose s duct instead of much lighter, more airflow friendly straight ducts.

Russia haven't been part of modern manufacture ecosystem for long time, some key micro-management issues were ignored & lost during the R&D of 5G fighter, here is the example:

Steering actuator processing on stealth fighter, Su57 didn't

There are more than 600 F/A-18E got it? plenty of them with radar blockers.

1000 + F-35 but a detail it is single engine so the S duct is because like Mirage 2000 it has two side intakes.

Add a factor your opinion or mine are useless, find a document where it says radar blockers do not work.

Interesting the love Chinese have for the Indian and Russian camarades, it is obvious the Chinese will betray India and Russia.

By the way DSI will have lower pressure recovery and it will lose static thrust the engine so at Mach 2 the caret of Su-57 will allow lower fuel burn more thrust and higher supercruise speed add better engine use with lesser damage to the engine.

crappy propaganda J-20 has canards with ventral fins and vertical fins and wings 4 radar reflecting surfaces and a horrible ugly intake faring engine fairing transition from canted side fuselage intake walls to rounded engine fairings quiet an ugly design add the thick tail booms that become abruptly cut generating more drag.

Add a long fuselage to compensate for long S ducts and crappy small dorsal vertical tails that get blanketed by the long fuselage rendering useless at high AoA, so they added ventral fins to add diffraction reflection good design crap J-20 but the rockdog uses flag waving

My guy su 57 is supposed to be a 5th gen stealth aircraft, comparing it to 4/4.5 gen is stupid.
Second rafale, eurofighter being 4 gen and being a twin engine and also being more modern design compared to su27/30/35 and f 15. has S ducts.

, j20, f22, j35 all are twin engine with s ducts.
There's not "5th gen " fighter either in production/ prototype/ in development that does not have an s duct except su 57.
