If the argument is that India will never catch China, which is Chinese manufacturing PMI 49 and India 58. For India to never catch Chinese manufacturing, India’s PMI needs to be lower than China for sustained periods of time.

Now let’s look at Chinese PMI between 2000-2010

Oh look it’s very similar to India. And look Chinese PMI today is very similar to US.

What can we derive from this data?

China was growing similar to India in the 1990-2010 timeframe and China is growing similar to U.S. in the 2015+ timeframe.

This means that India will inevitably catch and surpass China because it has a larger population because that is what China did to US manufacturing.

If you disagree with this, then you need to articulate why using logical reasoning how the situation was different for China in 1980-2000 compared to India today.

Even when people type their answers in text, it is possible to pick up micro aggressions. From your tonality and your argumentation I can derive that you don’t like India’s growth and you have a strong cognitive dissonance towards interpreting data, facts and patterns to blind yourself to the possibility that it may surpass China.

My worldview is that India will surpass China because it has done so in the past. Data points to similar circumstances when China took over US manufacturing existing between India and China today. India has a larger population so the ages 18-55 will contribute towards the 55+ social security net for a long time enabling the state to spend more on growth instead of social security unlike China.

Your post is in error. You do not include the rapid rail transit system (RRTS) going on in India while you include those in China. Once you include that, you will find that India is ranked nbr 2 not 4.
