I also believe that the true, elite Hindu culture is much better than anything the West has. I'm surrounded by conservative, Brahminical Hindus who are high achievers and good people in general with little to no degeneracy.

India's issues are that 50% thinks this Brahminical high culture is bad and ooga booga, subhuman tier culture should be the norm.

The first culture produces ISRO Scientists who succeed in Mars missions while the second culture produces Street shitters. Sadly both get to share the same country.

This is also why I criticise BJP a lot. Instead of actively promoting Hindu high culture, they do Bhimta appeasement for votes.

In the cities you have the druggies, the homeless and the criminals who are far more gross and degenerate compared to anything in India. The problem is in how the narratives are spread. The news about India will be magnified and the news about the west will be suppressed.

These fires mean perpetual air quality issues and power outages. Last new year we lost power for 48 hours due to high winds. In the summer the power is shutoff during peak draw to avoid forest fires.

That in my opinion is the correct way to deal with it. People need to feel accepted by society in order to adopt society’s standards. If they are classified as degenerated people and socially outcast, they have nothing to lose by behaving they way they do. If you approach them with empathy and socially condition them to do better, you have a chance. However habits form as kids and get codified as adults. Only education can change this, but I rather create enough space within the narrative where Indians don’t need to feel ashamed about this in public discourse. I don’t see any Americans apologizing to me about their rednecks, hicks, druggies and trailer trash.

They lament that they have to pay extra to a coffee shop if they sit and drink the coffee in the shop. They lament that slowly all their businesses are being taken over by the Chinese. They lament that their kids are far from them and they themselves feel lonely. They feel unfortunate because they are not able to enjoy the delicious Indian cuisine because their gut is not able to handle it ( They love butter Naan and Indian gravies) . They love the beer brewed in the breweries in Hyderabad. They feel that Trident and Westin are too expensive and they get the same qualities in hotels like Avasa(An Indian brand) at half the price. They feel that the good hotels here prepare all kinds of cuisines perfectly but they can't get good Indian food even in Indian restaurants in their country. They appreciate the intelligence and hard working nature of young Indian population and most of them feel that in the coming few decades, either of China or India will take over USA. The elder population there feels that their younger generation is becoming too woke and slutty.
Obviously, with their population density their cities are cleaner than ours, but they understand this and none of them till now has made any disgusting remark about this.( Two of them are staying in India since last six years, six months in a year and one has Hanumanji as her DP on WhatsApp).

Because they don’t self loathe. The narrative about their country is that it is developed. Their confession is tied to seeing the double standard between the narrative and their experiences. The confession makes them feel more grounded in reality and also empathize with the Indian perspective.
