Chit Chat

I haven't proven anything. India begged Japan for Shinkansen before turning it down. India is begging Safran and now Saturn for "ToT" for a jet engine. India begs for ToT. Indians believe that infrastructure is only roads. But there's literally trash everywhere you look. Even our temples are littered with trash (I have pictures to prove this, but if you have eyes you shouldn't need me to tell you). Our holy rivers completely polluted. You talk to Indians about this, "oh yes. We need to change our mentality. But the government needs to do something too!" As if? Is it so hard to have one field somewhere where people can put their trash? It's a blame game. Indians are perpetual victims.

I'm no "sipoy". I was just thankfully given the capacity to think critically.

BTW: If you have an ability to think, you'll notice I haven't made any personal slurs or slanders against you. This is exactly why people in the West think so little of us. I'm merely giving cultural criticisms and you are taking it personally. If you truly introspected, you wouldn't be slandering my name by calling me a "sipoy".
Cleanliness comes when the standard of living improves to a point where there's no daily struggle for food & safety etc . It's a harsh reality but it is what it is , exaberated by harsh weather, dust, non existent amenities outside cities & lack of urban planning. CONgress fabian socialism had ruined our economy before 1990s & innoculated the boomer generation with widespread corruption. Rest was taken care by casteist regional parties . My sincere belief is India needs CCP style re education camps for all anti social elements, ban on all leftist politics & all out focus on economic growth & mass industrialization. All cities should be re designed for future population growth & proper sewage treatment plants & waste disposal services 24x7. .

> There's many countries as poor as India which are substantially cleaner. South America, even in Africa. Probably Bhutan too. But this is what Indians are exceptional at doing. Excuse making and blaming.

Hey look India made a top ten list! https://bscholarly.com/dirtiest-countries-in-the-world/ This must be the fault of Congress! Here's the top 15 poorest countries in the world: https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/the-poorest-countries-in-the-world.html

We all know this. It's totally irrelevant here. You were talking about caste discrimination.

Omfg. I seriously think you don't understand how to think. I am talking about PERCEPTION. I understand that "ground reality" recently is different. But the perception here is NOT what you think. And sure, India is "catching up", but it's "catching up" with different classes for different economic backgrounds. Do you not see this? 5-star hotels and mall are entirely irrelevant and literally don't matter in this discussion.

If you are talking about your perception or American perception then you should ask Americans and yourself to improve your perception.

Genuinely embarrassing.

Embarrassing is when you caught lying but still jumping topic to topic to defend the mistake.

Bro, don’t use other countries as an example of cleanliness. Indian streets maybe dirty, but the houses are kept immaculately clean. If you live in the west, you would be aware how often people shower, keep themselves clean… people don’t even use bidets and have crusty poop. So we don’t need a lecture on cleanliness thank you.

Bidets can be more hygienic and better for the environment than toilet paper

  • Hygiene
Bidets can be more hygienic than toilet paper because water can remove more fecal matter than a few squares of toilet paper. Wiping with toilet paper can also transfer fecal matter to your hands or nails, which can spread germs. A 2022 study found that people who used bidets had fewer microbes on their hands than those who used toilet paper.

    • Environment
Bidets can reduce the environmental impact of toilet paper by reducing the amount of paper used and the water used to make and transport paper. Toilet paper production uses a lot of water and can contribute to deforestation.

    • Ease of use
Bidets can be gentle and easy to use, especially for people with hemorrhoids, anal fissures, or who are recovering from giving birth. They can also be helpful for people who have trouble reaching back to wipe.
Bidets can cost between $30 and $6,90

High percentage of daily bathers:
Statistics show that over 80% of people in India bathe daily, which is higher than in some other countries like the United States

You are seriously an embarrassing person. I'm going to ignore you from now on.

American homes are for the most part clean. The air in India? Filthy. The streets in India? Putrid. If you can't handle a legitimate criticism about India, stop begging for tourists to come.

People wear shoes into their bedrooms. The same shoes they have on when they go to public restrooms where strangers pee on the floor. Some Americans wear those shoes to bed or on their couch.

Now if you live in big metros where people pee and shit on the streets, you are dragging that into your home. Need I need to go into detail about tenderloin district of SF?

There is a reason more Americans died of Covid than Indians. It’s the hygiene habits and cleanliness.

In India, you leave your shoes at the door. Wash your hands and feet regardless of whose home you go to.
