The place where this attack took place is in Kathua where the majority of locals are Hindus, therefore I don't think there was any local support. Further, worryingly the area they attacked is close to Himachal.

They are able to carry out attacks with ease because the terrain of Jammu division is highly conducive to insurgency unlike the valley of Kashmir, which is why you see the Kill ratio highly in our favor in Kashmir valley whereas we see higher casualties on our side in Jammu.

Abject failure of GoI policy and IA SOPs all the same. GoI for continuing the farcical ceasefire and kid gloves treatment of porks and IA for playing along with it, and not learning from past experiences
 
Iam shocked how weak our SOP’s are out of the images I have seen 70% are clicked by army troops or people around the troops themselves of their injured buddies how can you be this inconsiderate about incident which is this serious

Yes post the pics..Saala Ultra phoren IQ level Genrols are not learning or rather they dont want to learn.. We are loosing our bravemen on daily basis...Sab chalta hai attitude sala do fauji gaye to kya farak padne vaala hai...Karma is a bloddy bitch it will come to haunt such Ultra IQ phoren Genrols in one or the other way..
 
So wretched to see army top brass behave like a political mouth piece by keep saying all is well everyday so that no pressure mounted on elected govt. Everyday multiple block of pakroaches encroach easily cross the border and it is becoming a disaster for footsoldiers

You are overthinking this. It’s simply due to the fact that Jammu militancy has never been hot, historically. Hence, most units in Jammu are doing peace tenures and humanitarian duties, not fighting insurgents. This is why the unit was probably unprepared tbh

Airforce truck was ambushed in may we lost 1 there
Also how many ambushes happened since January? Two.
How many we lost 1 airforce and 5 yesterday.
The only conclusion I can draw is that we are not learning btw according to OSINT sources this was not a logistics truck it was a routine patrol vehicle which was NON ARMOURED SOFT TOP TRUCK
And we had no casualties because there were no ambushes as soon as we have one ambush we have casualties I don’t why you are underplaying it but 5KIA in your own territory 20km away from Himachal is matter of great concern and shame (iam not talking about ops,ops can be unpredictable and casualties are understandable but same type of ambush again and again is not ok if anything it shows our incompetence)

Pure nonsense. How is the indian army responsible for defending the air force? It’s the air forces job to ask for protection and escorts. There were encounters all throughout may, several in april, and june. Jammu has been dormant till this year. I haven’t seen any successful ambush in poonch or rajouri this year on the IA.

I also specifically mentioned iam talking about ambushes and not ops
And again you are repeating what I said there were no ambushes hence no casualties ambush happened casualty it’s almost like they control when we take casualties we killed 6pigs day before yesterday and they took revenge the next fkin day which means there is nothing stopping them from ambushing our troops they can do it anytime anywhere in OUR FKIN TERRITORY that’s pure incompetence

Jammu was always the hotbed of insurgency,not just pak sponsored Islamist insurgency but khalistani too.During the outbreak of insurgency in the early 90's bulk of the insurgent attacks happened in Jammu and not in Kashmir valley.Much of it died down in early 2000s,thus allowing for the forces to focus on Kashmir valley.

I hope you aware this a proxy war right. No other country is going through this right now other than pakistan. They took “rvenege” by attacking units doing humanitarian duties. What do you want to do? Throw all peace tenure units into combatv
