True , but the things we did then to control it can't be done today .
PAPA2 and similar was instrumental in creating fear , but today if we try to do something like it all hell will break loose . In todays environment with sm and tech , CI/CT has become hard
 
CI/CT , ECONOMICS should be free of politics.

Most Indian politicians are friends irrespective of their party affiliation.
People who believe otherwise end up as Thomas crook (in the most extreme case)

CI CT needs to be analysed criticised rationally and yes some of these reports are from other party publications but facts should be analysed.

As I said IA will overcome this setback, but it could have been better prepared.

But those groups did not have the active aid of CIA or US intelligence services.

You are right brother...Unfortunately our army is very Nostalgic and dont want to come out of that era but All those Dhadi wala's , Pagdi walas and Small eyed chinkies have started using AI, HF satcoms, Blue tipped Bullets, Drones and even BPJs and you know the best part is our chalta hai attitude wala Genrols are waiting for weekend to taste a Glass of Glen Moranji...😊

We didn't crush them completely
What I mean is we dealt with every insurgency and solved the matter but never uprooted it
And that's the fact every now and then these insurgencies will rise time to time with help of global masters
The way khalistani separatism is rising sophisticatedly is testimony to it
In future u will see many older insurgencies rising and the circle will keep on repeating
We are dealing with problem temporarily by not chasing down their funding their people their middle men their supply chain their masterminds and especially not subverting the particular section of people involved in it
Until then they will be evolving and erupting

Why ? This is the story after every ambush... We try to reduce our humiliation by saying that those tangos are ex Pak Army or SSG.. They may well be ex SSG, but it's beside the point.. Natives like Uzair Khan killed last year, have also killed Army officers in ambush..
Army needs some serious relook at SOP

I mean they are pushing the last ambush as an encounter what can you expect they hid the 2 beheadings in an ambush the army is being politicalised and it’s not good it will affect us in wars when the generals care more about the politicians than their own men

There is no need of PAPA2 as It's much more difficult to be an insurgent today than 20-30 years ago.
There is a tighter border control and monitoring. Besides few will dare to pick up the gun as their Immediate family members will lose their jobs, land, and houses, and be blacklisted from getting any form of employment.

As i speak, there are very few terrorists in the valley, numbering not more than 100.
This is a far cry from the 10,000-20,000 we had in the 90's.

This thread is complete bullshit. There wasn’t a single gun fired from january 2024-may 2024. Only a few encounters here and there. Only recently have we suffered KIA.

They are actually trying revive terrorism in Kashmir I won’t be surprised if they manage to enter bordering states of J&K and try to take on bigger attacks in these states.

If the serial of pak sponsored terrorist attacks fails to grab international attention then the preparators in pak will get desperate, terrorists will be instructed to target local people and larger installation, Either in Jammu or near by states.

Unless you are counting every road accident etc as ambush, your number seems way off. How are you claiming it to be so high? Any proof? Or are you saying army is covering up the deaths? Officially the KIA number is 3x lower.
