if our national security doctrine lowers the threshold of definition of war to include infiltration, then India is always at war, which is what paki security establishment wants i.e hyphenation with India. in their view military conflict with India allows them to force GoI to negotiating table .then the question arises, why should India give what pakis want?

let's look at pakiland's own response on their western borders when dealing with infiltrations and terror attacks, they carried out multiple military operations over decades but never called it a war on it's western neighbours. considering paki security establishment is far less constrained by their civilian leadership, than in India. so even paki threshold of definition of war is not infiltration.

in essence, pakis continue to exploit a weakness in global security architecture on how to deal with cross border terrorism.

but yes, what exactly triggered this current wave is a question for now.

I think there is lack of deepstate in India and this passiveness in strategy is leading us nowhere. What pakis does in the western border shouldn't be our concern because they are not the regional power or have the ambition to become a global power. The thing with our doctrine is neither of being ruthless like China and do absolute demographic changes in the regions we need to do, infact we are getting infiltrated from the east and allowing their populations settled in strategic places. Same thing happening in Uttrakhand and other states. On top necessary reforms are not even being done on fear of losing elections while in Bangladesh, Hasina shows what consequences are to the oppoistion when they try to ferement shit.

Countries like US, China and Russia will never tolerate shit like this inside their soil.

The thing is we need this too to go on the offensive, our political landscape is not looking good with congress fermenting divisions from caste to language, giving out freebies. Inc by inch they are taking control and destroying each state at a time. The Modi factor seems to be fading away and BJP seems to have to answer now.

We have limited window of opportunity and we need to make a statement like Israel or else this is gonna look even worse in a decade.

There has to be monumental mental shift in our policies. Overt actions needs to be taken. The fear of going to the negotiating table is absurd when we should be confident that it will go in our favour but there seems to be no confidence in that. So what does it tell about the state we are in.

If pakis dont fear hypertention because they somehow believe their hides would be saved because they can handle the Indian onslaught then it is our duty to show them they are living in la la land. If pakis dont fear hyper tention because they make us believe they can go toe to toe with us and stop us from taking "risks", then we are not in control of our destiny nor we will ever be a civilzational global power. If our thinking is we have to get to this point then we will launch an offensive, boss we will keep a rain check on that date forever.

Whenever Sharifs come in power militancy increases in J&K, Sharifs have strong network of workers in POJK and also this side, because they are good in generating funds from overseas Pakistani diaspora , that's my opinion.
