Sad reality of the ground. The reality is the indian jawan has less night fighting capabilities than the kashmiri insurgent.

They're trying to mix in some false propaganda with the real stuff to fuck with morale. They've had enough wins this year that letting it pass by will be wasted opportunity. They will exploit it to the fullest for years to come. I also expect an uptick in Kashmiris joining terror groups again.
All of these bacha boys have had a serious boost in image this year.

Kashmir Mujrahiddeens are easy to neutralize due to various factors and that has made our army very complacent and one dimensional .

We used to be very good in CI by the late ninetees and early 2000.
After which insurgencies became local and we since then became ineffective.
Now the enemy is back again and we have been taken by surprise by it's superior tactics ,Intel and weapons. We will prevail for sure but we will have to pay huge price to fix gaps

Its a lesson which we never learn . Enemy waits for you to become complacent before attacking.

Forget technology. We are forgetting HUMINT. Numerous times Indian army would eliminate groups of 10-30 insurgents inside kashmir back in 2000-2003 from HUMINT. The people were on our side. They weren’t walking our men into slaughter houses. The encounter were never difficult. The kashmiri jihadi and indian soldier have always been similar gear wise. However, what we lacked in gear we made up for in planning and initiative.

Also, 94 was probably the best year in kashmir :).

What tactics would you like to be used? It’s an insurgency not a a conventional conflict. CQB is unpredictable, dangerous, and very difficult to do without air assets.

SSG can be seen wearing tracksuits or salwar kameez for quick movement and to mix in local, that's SF stuff. They have optimized theirselves to operate in casuals on both east and west fronts.

This is an era of drone warfare. Israelis are using drones to navigate tight corners. Some Israeli start-up are working on drones that can detonate.

We might laugh at this proposition right now but those who actually care about life of their men are moving Heaven and earth to save them.

Very important.

Just last week we had drones which captured images of terrorists going to cross the LoC.

Gun fight erupted and we lost one man the next day.

Had we had drones we could’ve wiped out that squad there and then.

Security forces need to be more vigilant at LOC coming days as multiple PAF UAVs & ELINT platforms started operating over parts of PoK especially at the Jammu sector. Napak army searching for loopholes along loc to push infiltration and will try to up the ante. Turkish A400 possibly carrying vital arms was also enroute to Sargodha Airbase.

Most of the infantry didnt even know how to hold a pistol and fire or how to fire and move in 2000s

then whats need for lakhs of troops with rifles , just fire everyone .

even if drones can blow up all soldiers / tanks / artys , u still need some asshole to go and capture land and keep it.
