There's already a DRDO-Kalayni prototype undergoing tests

This JV has been formed just to delay things... they will ask for their own sweet time to come up with a gun.

We need the guns today... not sure whether the deal would be inked even by 2029.

Tata and mahindra CEOs probably already knew this was possibility before they even began working on these orders, clown behaviour of our babus is not a new phenomenon.

Best they can do now is quickly order other critical systems from indigenous sources before american MIC has chance to sink them too.

Problem isn't trump here, conspiracy to kill whap through stryker was created much before, their mic funds both political parties equally. F-35 thing is gonna last even after trump goes out of power.

How many can kalyani deliver in a year, feels like MGS kalyani should have been ordered by now.

That doesn’t make my point any less valid. Besides I do pay taxes in your country in the form of property taxes and GST so technically it’s my tax money at work.

That is one of the reason why they come up with outlandish requirements or frequent changes during product development, as they have never been involved in development of a product and have never taken the interest in building anything. Just buying this and that and asking MOD to fund all their wish list.

Two companies collaborating for an product. We cannot stop them. Ball is in MOD's Court to follow the tender process. If they cannot pass the tender, then chuck them out.

But based on MGS system procurement going, it will take another 3 years. Enough time for L&T/AWEIL to bring the prototype.

And use those TEDBF funds for initial development of 6 th gen jet or ghatak based bomber.....


That cruise missile should have dimensions similar to sea breaker missile to be able to fit in AMCA iwb....

I thought le francais like you viewed HAL as a backward moribund decrepit organization which is the reason Dassault virtually walked out of the deal then went to town expressing reservations about collaboration with HAL on their mfg processes apart from many other reasons, after agreeing to all the terms of the MMRCA tender.

What's changed now? They're still as inefficient. Didn't you see the outbursts of the IAF chief in public against HAL? @BON PLAN
