DRDL is currently in the process of constructing a Tri-Sonic wind tunnel featuring a test section measuring 425 mm x 425 mm, designed for the testing of aerospace vehicles. The envisioned test duration spans from 30 to 40 seconds.

So far, this design has gone from Israel(Harpy)/Iran -> Russia -> Ukraine -> USA.
I think it should be copied by DRDO or some local private defense company.

He does have a point. Initially it was speculated we'd go in for the Super Hornets in the MRCBF deal for precisely this reason. Interoperability with the USN in case of a war in the IOR.

It's also the reason we're going in for mating western missiles with our FAs so that you don't have to go thru the pain of doing so in the midst of a conflict like we did in Kargil & like Ukraine is doing so now .
