It is stupidity to have semiconductor fab or testing facility in Bengal. It is a border state, highly unstable with criminal goons running it's politics since last 50 years. Those criminal goons will not allow the fab to function. Stop having wild fantasies for heavens sake. Be reasonable.

Was about to write the same thing. If the idea is to distribute these fabs across India , why not consider Odisha for a presence in the Eastern half ?

The funny bit she is missing is that they have not even proposed to build a FAB, only an R&D/GCC type establishment has been 'proposed'.
