It has been almost six months and there has been no rain in Islamabad in particular and in the country in general. This time there has been so much snowfall in the mountains that you can only take pictures of it. People are now slowly starting to get worried. It is February 17th and today's weather was like we are about to enter the summer season. Ramadan is yet to come and the temperature is increasing day by day. At the same time, the groundwater level is also decreasing. The picture under consideration is also one such news. An order has been issued to close illegal car wash places in Rawalpindi. The reason? Because the groundwater level has decreased by 40%.
This is just the beginning. If Allah does not show His mercy, we may not yet have an idea of what direction the situation may take. And the conditions of the people, the scholars and the state are such that they have all forgotten that collective punishments are for everyone. No one seems to be in the mood to pray to Allah at this time. The prayer for water, which used to be regularly organized earlier, is not heard from anywhere this time. Only once or twice in the Friday sermons, prayers and talk about it reached our ears. While we are fighting together with our environment, we have all started considering ourselves to be wise and considering praying as a useless act.
Diseases are spreading. Such a virus is spreading at this time that is taking every member of the family and repeatedly putting them to bed. Hospitals and regional clinics are full. Doctors also said that they have also become tired of this virus. But... neither the people nor the state have to raise their hands in prayer. Because here, there are deities, institutions and personalities, and there are priests of other deities. What does all this have to do with the Lord now? The cry of drought is coming. If we are still unable to hear it, then may Allah be our supporter and helper. Amen.
