Our country has suffered military scams.
Some past political parties adopted import culture & killed our R&D on aircrafts. This resulted in all types of problems - funding, facilities, people, etc. Hence we don't have proper engine R&D which impacts jet type also.
If GTRE made good engine like GE, P&W, RR, Safran, etc or at least we could import a stronger engine then LCA would not exist.

Not my hallucination. I don't want the aircraft used by IAF to be shot down but none of the aircraft used by India or Pakistan are immune to attack by ground or air launched missiles.
