If we remove some protection from underneath and increase on sides, it can fill anti- insurgency roles without losing mobility , or much extra cost.

But wouldn’t that nullify its use?what are the chances that if we increase armoured vehicles to prevent ambush they will not start using IED’s?You need all around protection atleast STANAG 2 that’s basic protection.
Fun fact- Armado has more protection than QRFV

QRFV is touted as a mine protection vehicle with higher protection underneath rather than sidewise. It's probably built to specifically to fight against Naxals in CG / JH / MH.

Yeah on the anti mine protection side it aready protects from a 21 kg explosive under the wheel its damn good tbh

Got it blast protection is STANAG 4 while ballistic is NIJ 3 which mean 7.62 non AP bullets got it thanks
