We can’t, let them induct whatever they want just induct some armoured vehicles goddamit i couldn’t care less what company it is our troops dying,it will be made in India just induct them in good numbers.

QRFV is not STANAG 4 it is STANAG 1

Btw this is one of the reasons why army is not inducting QRFV and spending more money to acquire better vehicles like M4 or now the trials of Typhoon

The ballistic protection depends on the user/mission requirements. It should be upgradable.

Its VFJ most probably Kit assembly like they are doing it for AL Stallion MK IV. Also what happened to Adithya MRAP. I know it failed in real world due to poor protection, but still we can upgrade them.

Sorry to break your hearts gentlemen but this is the configuration in which army has inducted it and I will talk on the basis of that only idc upgradable hai it’s not capable at all.

Is it still worth 2 cr if we have to upgrade it? On top of that extra armour is extra weight loss of mobility with which it was tested on high altitude all in all waste of money I agree with you most of the time but this time nah we need better vehicles what will you do with a vehicle that can’t even stop 7.62 AP bullets which are getting more and more common with terrorists?just because its indigenous and it’s Tata doesn’t mean we have to buy it or is it some godly equipment is it?

2cr is not dirt cheap for a vehicle that has this low of standard protection again idc about upgradable that will be more money Kalyani is priced according to its safety it gives more safety than WhAp in 5cr. Its worth it I can bet you Russian typhoon will be better than QRFV just because its indigenous iam not gonna do tricks on it bs

There was one incident where qrfv got penetrated in a kuki attack on manipur police.

But that’s what my point is Army has bought it in base variant so I will see it like that also we have not seen QRFV with upgraded or added armour heck i don’t even know it’s upgradable or not and I don’t see QRFV and Stryker in same category my point being QRFV is not good enough compared to M4 and KAMAZ-53949 and I have provided enough proofs to back that WITHOUT UPGRADES.
