Indian Economy

One more reason why not joining the cheeni sponsored RCEP was a good decision. Indon textile industry is getting decimated.

News is still awaiting confirmation. Still what is wrong with these morons? Why are they making things complicated? Are we spending $15 billion to get a train which max out at 250 km/h? It is high speed rail which runs at 320 km/h ofcourse it won't come at the price of Shatabdi or Vande Bharat express.

I am not sure what you are finding wrong here!

Our indigenous High-Speed trains will be rated to speed of 250KMPH at first. We are not directly moving to above 300KMPH trains.

Also, the High Speed network does not always have trains running at 300-320KMPH. The average speed can be anywhere from 220 to 280KMPH. These routes also share track with other 200-250KMPH speed trains.

So, we might see the Japanese built trains running at top speed during peak time and rest of the day we can run these 250kmph speed indigenous trains.

Wrong. They specifically stated for Mumbai to Karnavati route, there will be 2 types of trains. One is direct Mumbai to Karnavati which will run top speed at 320 km/h non stop in 2 hours. Another will stop at stations which are constructed and reach destination in 3 hours.

We were supposed to get E5 Shinkasen model. It is extremely disappointing after spending billions and waiting for over a decade we are getting a 250 km/h train. First, let these fools upgrade the present tracks and by all means run trains at 220 km/h as planned. HSR track is also standard gauge. This will push the project beyond 2030 given our previous history with completing projects.

I don't know what you are reading. We are getting trainsets from Japan which will run at their said speed of 320KMPH.
In addition to that we will be running our indegenously developed trainset which will run at 250kmph speed.

I don't why every action or project by govt is viewed as wrong and disappointing!

No, read the article. Although, there is no explicit statement yet from GoI about cancelling Shinkasen trains, they seem to have decided to develop domestic high speed train for the same route. I am not against it. If we are going to build high speed rail network, let's not screw it up. Since HSR is going to be on standard gauge and there is a reason we are calling it HSR, all trains on this HSR routes should be capable of above 300 km/h speed.

Our railway network runs on broad gauge. Let's upgrade those tracks. We anyway would have the expertise to build HSR tracks now. So let's upgrade it to modern standards and also keeping in mind lot of commie jihadis filth tendency to derail the trains, we need sensors and cameras as safety measures. I am not sure why our railway minister who is a learned man is taking eternity to upgrade railway tracks. Can't we upgrade 5,000 kms of tracks every year?

Well the problem is that the majority of Indians don’t want to pay for railroad fares so how can we upgrade massively if Indians want freebies and not pay for their way.
