I wonder ... If USA tariffs everybody .
With no illegal immigrants where are they going to get anybody in the US willing to work for 300 USD a month ?
They have shortages for every labour category that cannot be offshored like warehouse workers and construction workers. The last time the trade war happened the USA gained like 2000 jobs . Those who were manufacturing in the US just increased their price to match that of their imported competitors.
In the end the US used its increased tariff earnings to subsidy their farmers that were badly effected by chinese reciprocal tariffs.

Even if our Cipla move production there, it will be costly. Looks like all US companies need good old protectionism to survive.

The best plan is to mutual screwups by every country and let them cook. Tariffs or not Tesla will be cooked by Chinese companies.

To start manufacturing first you need to become assembly hub with components flowing in from China / east asia.

Then start the gradual process of parts building form locally over time .

As your scale grows suppliars set up shop locally and source locally.

And In time you have entire ecosystem.

We are Step one for most things.
So Chinese imports will continue.

In some cases we have mover much further like smartphones and led TVs.

Developing a metro network is actually easier than building 8-12 lane roads in cities like Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, and Gaya. Patna is a different case—it’s a metropolitan city with both 10-12 lane roads and a 60-kilometer-long metro network under construction, which will be further expanded. The Bihar cabinet has approved metro projects for these cities.

These metro networks are much smaller compared to Patna metro, and land acquisition costs in these cities are much lower, so they won’t take as long as the Patna Metro. The first phase of Patna Metro alone was 33 kilometers long, and the second phase is another 28 kilometers.

I’m surprised by the length of Gaya Metro, its first phase is 36 kilometers, which is even longer than the first phase of Patna Metro, which was only 33 kilometers.
