Indian Economy

Yeah, guys don't drink much. But those who've tasted Campa Cola, do tell how it fares against it's competitors
tastes like a little mild version of pepsi, a little fruity cola taste, leans on sweeter side, definitely not that strong in terms of fizz as thums up
though i don't remember which flavour of campa i got to taste, i mean it comes in regular 'campa cola' and fizzier thums up alternative 'campa power up cola' flavours

it's sold a lot in Reliance owned malls because why not, obviously Mukesh bhai gonna field his products there

i would like gold spot to revive with same taste before. was tastier than fanta i remember
Some need to retain the original formula for this to happen. These Indian drinks were developed when Pepsi and Coke left India in 70s. Makers of these drinks tried to replicate the taste using the locally sourced Indian Ingredients. Not sure if someone cared to save these formula for this long.

Isn't whatever we are drinking now is High Fructose Corn Syrup based shit? Because in Europe the same coca cola tastes different.

Nopes, both Pepsi and Coke use regular cane sugar as their sweetener instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup in Indian and European markets.

IMHO, they use High Fructose Corn Syrup for the US market only. Rest of the world is still using Cane Sugar.

No its the normal sugar from sugarcane.
We have plenty of domestic sugar production, the sugar lobby would chimp out if ((( corn syrup ))) was being imported as a sweetener.

it's mostly refined white sugar because it's heavily mass produced here
BUT even that stuff is heavily processed thing and bad for health;
also, we don't have much regulation (at least in practice) over food colouring and preservatives that goes into these all...so it's another bad thing for health;

in my opinion we should put a ban on heavily processed white sugar altogether and make brown sugar a standard thing here, and natural food colours over chemical crap, and so on for preservatives too

20 rs was a clear loot, and 35rs for 600-700 ml was too much for 1 guy, once opened these drinks lose fizz exponentially .
400ml is still too much, it's pathetic they chose to increase quantity instead of reducing price of 250ml.

Campacopa didnt taste that good. Felt it lacks fizz, i might try again today for confirmation. Thumbs-up rules above all.
certainly 700 ml soft sugery drinks r not too much for people like me....i can easily drink that much, with one packet of chips during cricket matches show.
may be coz i dont drink alcohol etc. so i consume more tea (4 cups a day) nd soft drink than common people. i hv to leave both (caffine nd suger drink😁) soon for my own good😥. is it okey to drink 2 cup tea daily nd soft drink in a week?? i m not that much active person, but lazzy one. 😝

If health is a concern then all these soft drinks must be avoided. Any baked/fried product from market should be avoided as the companies are using the unhealthy Rice bran and Palm oil Imported from South-East Asia.

Reject these for 6 months and see the difference in your health.

I was doing some analysis of the non-technical exports of China (i.e. exports that do not require Hi-Tec machinery or know how). Looking at the exports numbers it was quite evident that for most part of this century we have not even tried to achieve 3rd or even 4th spot in these categories.

It has been only few years since we have started to focus on these sectors like Furniture, footwear, toys etc. and around building infra to reduce input costs, transport costs, ports etc.

Reaching even 30% of China's scale in these sectors will create huge employment and also reduce our trade deficit in merchandise trade to a large extent.

Furniture

China (2023): $121.47B
India (2023): $2.34B

Toys

China (2023): $88:50B
India (2023): $501.46M

Footwear Exports

China (2023): $53.01B
India (2023): $2.53B

Glass & Glassware

China (2023): $25.37B
India (2023): $1.08B

CH is mostly just red corridor districts, they are gonna take some time to improve

First thing is getting rid of lol salamis then building critical infrastructure in these area, some of them have almost no paved road outside of state highways.
it’s better to release this data district-wise
once the next census is completed, it will provide an even clearer picture of poverty, literacy, and health across different parts of India.

during that period not just India, it's the same across the world. if we recall where chini virus started in europe, it started in florence among chini workers in a chini textile company in italy.

the idea that was forced upon by goras was:

china would be world's factory,
U.S would be making their printers go brrrr,
India would be world's back office and tech support,
eastern europe would be gora's bread basket,
south america was already in total control of the left so nothing productive came from there,
africa was not in picture,
australia would supply coal and minerals to china to run their factories,
muslim world will not be allowed to settle with one regime change after another,
NGOs were dictating policies in all countries except china, russia and noko.
and goras would be sipping champagnes in their cocotail parties and lecturing everyone.

that was the essence of "liberal world order".

and in India, NGO's were running riot on the streets and in courts, making sure gora plans were implemented. existing manufacturing capacities were forced to close, infra was not allowed to be built by climate change activists etc etc.
