Indian Politics and Democracy

If you ask me the OvErToN WiNdOw from the 2024 elections have shifted back to "Kaun Jaat ba?" and "sons of the soil", not the "far right".
There is no pushback except from the other side

Hard disagree. The 'collapse' of 'kaun jaat ba' brand of politics directly coincided with the sustained high growth era of the Indian economy, the start of the so-called 'India story', the rise of the BJP and the 'mainstreaming' of Hindutva. I do not see the trend reversing anytime soon. They (the BJPwallahs) got overconfident and made a series of unforced errors in UP and Maha - the opposition took advantage of it. If they keep up this 'kaun jaat ba' drivel and the BJP ends up losing elections left, right and centre in the coming years then I will agree with you. Else, the sample size is too big (25+ years, to be precise) to conclude otherwise.

Could some please tell uncle Rahul that there are other Industrialists in India like Bajaj, Tata, Birla, InfoSys etc... unke baare mein bhi kuch to bolo..

The Bajaj is his langoti-yaar almost and so is the Infosys Murthy, rest ofc donate to congress.
Mukesh also started donating so it became only Adani from Adani-Ambani.

I see this as a new tool & an extension of the west's outreach into our internal affairs with who else but the higher judiciary's blessings. This method was first explored during the CAA or the Farmer's protests IIRC. Since they received a positive response then by our judiciary they've decided to press home their advantage.

Meanwhile 1 bit of good news is accompanied by at least 2 bits of bad news. The SC has thrown out the petition by the UN Special Rapporteur but has largely acknowledged the demands.

Under the new set of laws to be framed , it appears an illegal encroachment can continue with its existence for as long as the courts don't determine its illegality which as we all know is practically forever not to mention rendering ALL future demolitions of such illegal structures null & void.

Goodbye Bull Dozer & Bull Dozer Baba's ways
It was fun while it lasted. Time for other solutions now.

Alhamdulillah !

Govt to do this or is it just a suggestion or farman from SC milaards?

Think you are overestimating Milaards. They just do not have the capacity to monitor every single eviction drive. They will do some virtue signalling, hand out some 'kathod' observations (which will in turn make media headlines), will issue some opaque guidelines and that will be it. Majority of the houses and the shanties they are demolishing aren't even registered properties - the affected families cannot even fight a legal battle here! All these 'activists' and 'rapporteurs' have been filing petitions since 2018 (with some even making a career out of it) - do they have anything to show for yet?

Milaards can also overstep their boundaries and Govts can chose to ignore it.
Two parties can play these games.

I observed the same. Supreme Court recently has been functioning more likely a Activist Panel rather than rigorous judiciary institute. Even in serious cases, its just puts some statements against government today and ignores next day.

Those demolitions of encroachments of suspected criminals were high profile well publicized events. It's impossible for the courts not to take cognizance of it especially since our andolanjeevis as you've rightly pointed out making a living out of such incidents will not miss these at all . After all their livelihood depends not just on such cases but the publicity which ensues.

Once they move courts , the latter will be compelled to act especially when they've raised such a hue & cry about it framing laws etc. And a more activist judge will actually make an example of the erring officials to deter the rest.

Have you gone thru the provisions the authorities are expected to comply with before actually demolishing the encroachments ? It's indeed designed to enable the offenders to move courts.

That's only one side of the story. There's absolutely no way they can frame rules to ensure genuine encroachments without any relation to punitive demolitions of offenders don't fall under the same category , hence escape demolition which is the objective of this particular case.

So what's the suspected outcome ? They'd frame omnibus rules designed to ensure anybody who can will end up moving courts indefinitely prolonging the entire process. The only cost here is that of doing the rounds of the courts interminably & of course the damage to one's finances.

This is a war of attrition like everything the judiciary has been waging against the government of the day irrespective of the party running the show. It's designed to institutionalise gradual judicial encroachment into the executive's powers. This has been going on since 4 decades with the pace picking up every time there's a weak government at the centre.

That's what this is all about. Don't think exponential think incremental here & you'd get what I'm getting at .

Guess what, "African Stream " has been banned by Google/Youtube after alleged "muh Russia" links.

They have lost data/emails.

Americunts & it's vassals are going all out in this narrative war & our policymakers still think that all this has nothing to do with us (?) or is it that we are too powerless to do anything (?)

American MNCs taking cue from their government decide as to what content Indians see on their platform in India.

Tomorrow it will be others like OpIndia/Swarajya/Firstpost/DD etc..

Cant the Indian courts fine these companies assuming a case is filed as these are operating in India & arbitrating content.

Also what are we doing to gain freedom from digital slavery?

Let us see. The so-called 'bulldozer action'/'baba ka bulldozer' has turned into a cornerstone of the political strategy of the BJP (alongside LJ laws, cow slaughter ban etc) - I still do not see them backing out of it. For instance, demolition drives are currently ongoing in Gujarat, Assam and Maharashtra as we speak. Even the milaards carved out an exception for public properties and protected regions (streets, railways, reserve forests etc) in their interim stay order.

Central Govt is too powerless.

Back in the day they proposed a law where Indian data is supposed to be legally mandated to be stored in data centers on Indian soil basically.

Big techs like Amazon, Google, Netflix barked a lot but the bite behind the bark was Daddy Amrika
So the GoI when Chandrashekhar was still Electronics mantri took back the law to "make changes".

This particular law is still predictably stuck in limbo.

There is also the infamous laptop-import-from-china-banned-you-assemble-them-here-to-sell farman that was immediately backtracked after the spoiled brats HP, Dell and maybe Apple called Daddy America to teach the evil cow-worshipping bullies a lesson in Free Market Capitalism.

I would also remind you about our widhwa-vilaap sessions on the politeeks thread where everybody's BP used to shoot up over why GoI isn't banning or throttling Twatter irrespective of it's #PhoolSapportSaar to the Toolkit "Farmers" Khalistan protests of 2021.

For now OpIndia and Swarajya may be shadow banned by google news and Twatter/Faceberg but they can't be deplatformed since it's ofc they're GoI's khaas media outlets, they atm don't want a direct confrontation with GoI.

What's up with insane Israeli dick sucking by IT cell ? These are not organic tweets, made exclusively by all members of IT cell around same time and similar in content ? Are we getting back something in return ?

I remember Abhijit Iyer saying on a podcast that Israelis have asked for help on social media, because they are outnumbered on social media.

This chutiya govt. hasn't ever done any information warfare on behalf of India, but are now doing on behalf of Israel, there better be something for our country in return, and not just some kickbacks to netas.

Finally someone did it

This is wrong. These newly minted hindu cells shall pickup issues which divide hindus - maybe thats by design. Shirdi Sai Baba ardently made people follow hindu customs, got hindu festivals celebrated including Ram Navami, Janamashtmi inside Masjid where he stayed. And got all temples repaired. Made people go on pilgrimage to famous religous places, asked people to read and explained religous books including bhagwad geeta, vishnu sahsranam, bhagwatam etc. Organized frequent Naam saptah - where continously people chanted names ofGod. He refused money initially, and later he asked money from select few - making them remeber long forgotten vows - but at the end of the day- he distributed all money collected to poor

Well fresh USCIRF report is also out now. Same old rhetoric of,

‘Collapsing Religious Freedom conditions’

‘religious leaders have been arbitrarily arrested, and homes and places of worship have been demolished.’

‘hate speech by government officials to incite violent attacks against religious minorities and their places of worship.......’
