Nothing wrong in championing vegetarianism while also accepting meat eating is an integral part of the lives of several communities who live in the country. Your agenda otoh is something else while you feign being a deeply concerned well-wisher.

I am just against BJP agenda of trying to enforce vegetarianism by taking away eggs in midday meals for children in BJP ruled states.. or introducing new veg only days during Hindu festivals to subconsciously stigmatize meat, when a majority of Hindu castes eat meat and eating meat is part of their culture / local festivals [Like we sacrifice goats to our local village warrior gods ] .. No one is force freeding meat to vegetarians you see.
Any way i place right to eat meat before Hindu solidarity just like BJP tends to place Vegetarianism [although in a sly manner ] before Hindu Solidarity..
So, i vote for BJP at the centre.. in Karnataka it is congress that i vote for until BJP abandons militant Vegetarianism..

What 'BJP agenda of trying enforce vegetarianism'? If you reject the yogic and Ayurvedic precepts of sattvic eating that favors vegetarianism then that is entirely on you I'm afraid which even the predominantly 'hindu castes' which eat meat follow on most days of the year. It's because you don't understand it that you peddle the Congoon IT cell talking points around the long since debunked non existence of eggs in mid-day meals so too the buy-in into the narrative of 'stigmatization of meat'. It just serves to confirm my suspicions around who you are and where these arguments come from.
The facile and pointless whataboutery about vegetarians not being 'force fed' meat just confirms the halfwittery around the whole false equivalence which you wish to draw, where you pretend that veg and non veg are somehow both qualitatively the same when anyone and their dog knows that it isn't and the notion of 'force feeding vegetarians meat' is meaningless unless you pretend you don't know how the preparation takes place or what the wider point being made actually is in the particular context.

You can eat all the meat you want before preaching what you want to about 'Hindu solidarity' which anyway is barely a rhetorical point to make for you which makes you qualitatively the same as a Muslim or a Xtian who doesn't understand these nuances. Nope I dont play games.. I am an avid Science fiction reader you Sanghi shit head militant vegetarian.. and its not just vedic culture of the Brahmins that constitutes Hindu culture..
