Nothing against Sattvik life style.. I myself eat less meat than i used to when i was very young.. And i dont believe in a non existant ganga jamuni tehzeeb.. and neither do i read atrocity porn.. Just finished reading book on Golvalkar's speeches and I agree with him that Indian muslims unlike Turkish and indonesian muslims have completely abandoned the culture of their Hindu ancestors, and the patriotism of most of them is suspect.. Its just that i dont hate muslims and dont like seeing them kicked around for lulz

I just want the BJP to empathise with meat eating Hindus as well.. and give more eggs to the kids who eat it as part of mid day meals, because at that price point its known to reduce wasting and stunting in kids [study in poor districts of Karnataka ]

He just lost power in Delhi & he lost his own seat.
The most thrilled party with BJP winning Delhi would be Congress.

For BJP, Kejriwal is a minor irritant at best. Apart from Delhi this man has done nothing to affect BJP chances anywhere. In fact Kejri managed for screw Congress in few states and help BJP.
On other hand, Kejru basically munched Congress in Delhi, Punjab and absolutely screwed them in Gujarat. Every win of Kejru came at the expense of Congress not BJP.

BJP winning Delhi is basically signal for Congress to go all out and destroy Kejru and AAP. This would help them retain their vote base in Delhi and Punjab.

For Kejru, there are very few friends now.
BJP won't support him, Congress will gleefully throw him in the oven and his other allies might just be hesitant to touch Kejru who ends up gobbling up his allies.

Remember, Kejru's rise started when Congress supported him in 2013 in Delhi to keep BJP out of power.
The fork in the road for Congress is, they just never ally with Kejru ever again or they keep getting pushed into alliance with Kejru.
The former is what the wise man would bet on but this is Congress..

For Kejru, he has to be very very careful. Not just in actions but also with words.
He is in a precarious position with BJP going for blood and Congress gleefully giving the axe to BJP.

In public gatherings in India, the default food options will generally always be vegetarian. It's just the way it is and is not a result of any specific BJP 'vedic Brahmin' antipathy against meat eaters just like halal food is in the Islamic world. People can eat eggs and whatever meat they wish on their own dime if it's that cheap though there is no one single superfood which will magically alleviate all problems of malnutrition and the best bet is to ensure at least kids get their basic calorie requirement which will always come majorly from plant-based carbs first.

Your views on how Muslims should be treated seems to come from a place that is somewhat close to dhimmitude in the desire to appear 'forward looking' but that is another issue.

As far as Khujliwal goes , he'd be back in the reckoning in 5 years & that's purely by default for I don't see the Congress get it's act together by then like they haven't in many of the states they've lost power in.

At the same time I must confess to be surprised by this showing of the BJP. Given the lack of a strong local leadership which has kept them out of power for nearly 3 decades now , I was under the impression this would end in a hung assembly with the BJP being the largest party but eventually losing out on a coalition between pAAP & Congress like in 2014.

This then is purely an anti incumbency or to be more precise an anti Khujliwal vote since there's no pAAP without him & like it is for parties which have been in power for a considerable amount of time.

Congratulations to the BJP & to Modi Shah duo . The victory would be twice as sweet ( not that it isn't since both pAAP & Khujliwal have been given the boot ) if Modi didn't do the heavy lifting like he has in the recent past but not so like in Maharashtra where the local leadership carried the day for this would symbolise that the second rung leadership of the party has now come to the fore.

It depends..
In our community.. Marriages, religious functions, shradhh or dharmic ceremonies involvong vedic gods or our kul devta [Tirupathi Venkataramana] always have vegetarian food..

But, when any guest visits its always fish or chicken.. Of course, the meal is vegetarian when a Brahmin or any vegetarian guest visits..
During village festivals, where we sacrifice animals to our ancestral village warrior gods who need blood sacrifice, it is chicken and mutton..
