Regarding waqf law, its just politics unfortunately. What stopped from introducing this when they had full majority? Now they can play politics by pointing to known snakes like Naidu and Nitish....they think people are stupid or what....you got kicked in the nuts for these type of things in 2024. NaMo needs to get new honest advisors, old ones are high on power and discrediting him faster than speed of light.
 
I hope Trump wins Presidency this November. The mastermind behind this whole regime change project is that scumbag Obama. Since that scumbag became President he went on a regime change operations in Syria, Egypt, Libya, and Ukraine. If Hillary would have become President in 2016 this regime change project would have continued unabated. Thankfully she lost.

Trump being unpredictable the entire establishment resources was diverted to keep a eye on him. So you barely saw the world being unstable during his time. Once Biden was elected they went back to their old ways. This is why Trump win is necessary for us. Him being in the White house will keep racist filth in the establishment busy. And we can easily navigate the waters from 2025-2029 by which time we will have general elections. Since Trump will be serving his last term he will most likely do permanent damage to US. All the Washington hawks will have no time for what is happening outside the US. So fingers crossed for Trump win in November.

All bunch of excuses, this is what coward leaders do and coward people follow....you can't stop what is happening in your own country with full majority and most of the population behind you. BJP following the corrupt shivsena and is just another party preying on votebanks. Also, we don't need more runners whether they are from BD or WB or somewhere else, people need to stand and fight to death when odds are close to nill as that is the instinct one should have.

Respect for US to do their thing craftfully.....naturaully there is more to this than meets the eye. My disappointment is more on domestic side and Namo 2/3.0 utter reluctance to address foreign influence in media, oppostiion, state politics, conversions, more importantly judiciary. They did not even discipline that hateful crpf woman that slapped an MP out of hate. Nothing more to prove the impotency here....

Standing committees are advisory in nature, recommendations by them are not mandatory

Yes, they are advisory bodies. Once they present their recommendations before the house, the members debate on those recommendations(2nd sitting). The catch is, most recommendations are accepted in the coalition setup. And given LJD and TDP themself pushed for JPC, they may impel the govt to accept those recommendations.
 
I really don't understand what these Congis think. Their Core Votebank doesn't go anyway. Even if they support Bills by BJP, what can their votebank do? Vote to BJP?That's not possible and they would eat shit than vote for BJP. They would have no choice but to swallow bitter pill and vote for Congress. Its like Muslim Americans voting for Democrats despite Biden Chacha basically shielding Israel because the Republicans are worse.

Few quick points :-

Sub classifications can be done by state governments. Central Government is not required to do so from what I understand by the judgement .

Secondly it's a case of once bitten twice shy for the BJP. They've just come out of an election where the opposition somewhat successfully sold the idea that the BJP getting 400 seats involved amending the constitution to do away with reservations altogether thus driving away the SC /ST vote from the BJP.

Thirdly the judgement of the SC involves identifying the creamy layer which short of a caste census can't be undertaken , I imagine.
