I don't know how did the "institutionalization" begun. All I know is that the BJP government of 2014 and 2019-20 were very different in approach and optics compared to the later period.

Something changed. Bureaucrats, sycophants, and opportunists managed to break through the invisible wall. A rot has set in.

As far as the TINA factor is concerned, it is the single most important straw that has managed to keep BJP in power. However, let us not use the examples from Congress to deny the ideological decay in BJP. We have been beating this dead horse for too long.

BJP is a party full of moderate cowards, who can only throw the extremists on their own side under the bus.

When you think about it, Hindu society is the exact same.

Remember Sullideals fiasco? Even so called RW Hindus were throwing the Hindus who did it under the bus. Have you seen any Muslim utter a word about Ajmer scandal which was real and not just some online prank like Sullideals?

If Hindus don't change, we'll be rightly wiped out for being weaklings.

I commented on this behavior of Modi previously on DFI.

BJP top leadership is made of non-elites rising to the top. These sort of people i.e new elites typically have insecurity and do everything possible to be in the good graces of the old elite (Which they fail in as old elite see them as subhumans).

People who are born elites typically don't have this insecurity and see their opponents with contempt which allows them to be ruthless. BJP leadership lacks this.
