Exactly. If we have to go by the book we will continue to suffer. Did Congress always go by the book? They bent the law according to their whims. Remember when elections were postponed after that namak haram Rajiv was assassinated. Was postponing elections there in the book? Nope. BJP has to set a precedent that they will do what is necessary to protect national security. That fucking bitch is challenging the Central government that she will burn the entire country down, and here we are talking about history books LOL. That is the helplessness we are in.

Application of art 356 is subjected to debate. If we look at the current situation of WB through the prism of constitutional machinery failure, Prez rule is still not applicable.

Since we are taking about the Prez rule, polling violence in WB, turmoil in PB before Amritpal's case, Jat andolan, Delhi govt during Farmers protest(art365, disregarded executive orders), Manipur violence. Cases like this are serious violations of the constitution and should lead to President's rule.

Anything other than this doesn't fit to the definition of constitution failure. And the union govt can end up as a laughing stock before judiciary, a case like SR Bommai.
 
Guys things are going overboard now. This Terrorist Woman Muslim CM is now openly threatening riots and killings and r*ape in other parts of Indian Union. Assam, Delhi etc has large % of muslims so she is gonna activate them for large scale rioting and even cut of India's delicate Chicken Neck.

The REAL PLAN is out of her filthy brain officially!

Seems like BJP is gonna sleep and wait until India is cut off from whole NE. :sleeep:

Things don't work like this anymore, atleast not in India.

You will end up making Mamouta Didi a messiah again in case you send Army or implement President Rule in Begal.

You need to fight it Politically in Bengal and BJP state cadre is doing great in Bengal recently.​

governments (state and centre) know it too, but they do it anyways, because:

- they are people's representative, if their constituents come up with a grievance executable with in the framework of law, public representatives are supposed to take it up.
- courts some times, while dismissing the case, also give clues on how to handle this in the order
- old IPC is no longer applicable, every section in BNS will have to go thru judicial review, this will go on beyond our lifetimes. as per BNS making anti-government statements is not a crime, making anti-national statements is, this at some point has to be tested in court.

These things are good to hear and say but you and I know we don't have much time in our hands to go through this messy democratic BS. Every single time I keep hearing the same thing. If you take action on a so and so politician they will gain sympathy in the eyes of the public. If the mofos in this country have sympathy for every scum and filth who call themselves politicians then we are doomed. It is this stupidity that scumbag in Delhi used in the name of "honesty" and enriched himself.

I will say it again, all this democracy BS need to wait. First let's achieve certain level of economic growth and living standards and then let's talk all about democracy from dawn to dusk. Otherwise, we will just end up like Bongs. Just talk politics from morning till evening and call yourself an intellectual while your state is a shithole with criminals running politics, voters from swamp land, businesses running away, scumbags like Kaushik Basu who sit in New York while glamorizing and glorifying poverty in Bengal as "impressionist dream".

Yes.. my point was those in power would deem anti government statements as anti national, and sometimes misuse.. anti government statements can sometimes be anti national [like calling for overthrow of elected government].. But, then the question arises is that enough for harsh punishment, if there was never a credible threat and it was just some jackass making those comments.. should he still end up in jail for 10 years..
