The accused, identified as Mohammad Tafseerul Arifin (25), Mohammad Afzal, Mohammad Shahid, and Zahir Khan alias Abdul Zahir, were involved in scanning and printing fake 100-rupee notes. These notes were then circulated in the local market. Police raided the Jamia Habibiya madrasa on August 28 and seized fake notes worth Rs 1.3 lakh, semi-manufactured currency, a printer, and other materials used for counterfeiting.

@ezsasa Remember my discussion with Kumata in DFI where I was insisting Rohingya, jamaatis have eneterd into Himachal in big fashion into hinterlands especially in those areas where govt in Shimla would not even care. Places where only bunch gujar muslims were there who followed ALL hindu rituals - today is fastly seen radical population infestation where they are building masjids upon masjids in forest lands. Kumata disagreed then. If a social awareness like SIMLA does not happen pan Himachal - I fear it will be Haridwar/ Udham Singh Nagar repeat in Kandi areas of Himachal

They did have the last laugh tho - Teesta Setalvad got thrown into Sabarmati Central Jail with all her bank accounts forzen and having secured a bail since, requires prior permission from the Supreme Court to go outstation these days. Harsh Mander had his accounts frozen and house raided. CPR and a few had their FCRA licenses revoked for opposing mining activities in MP and Chattisgarh. Foreign funding into Indian NGOs have plateaued since the introduction of their FCRA regime (when adjusted for currency depreciation and inflation, foreign contributions have actually declined y-o-y for the past few years). These foreign entity backed deep state projects have been (mostly) taken care of, they should be more worried about diaspora money flowing into Indian politics - the farmer protests caught them completely off guard.

Also, the original point of banning CNN, WaPo etc makes little sense - Uncle Sam is not 'banning' the likes of RT and TRT. They are fighting a legal battle to harass them; quite similar to the harassment tactics deployed by the Indian state (tax raids on the BBC, kicking out foreign journalists for legitimizing secessionists etc). Only the Indian govt received disproportionately negative coverage for their antics (across lolbert media) but that was to be expected.
