Indian Private Defence Sector

Every company goes through it
Just like hal
Infact rafale is being produced for years and most of LRUs being french
So shouldn't be disappointed when we face delays due to supply chain
We should look for solutions to mitigate such situation but bashing hal won't produce any result

Assembled Chinese components last time I checked. I made a purchase of a very basic radio controller to practice on realistic simulations before I pour in money to get a DJI RC2 to fly my Avata.
Not a good experience, the product I purchased (again Chinese) itself worked proper for not even a month, then the Yaw axis joystick became very laggy. Inside FPV didnt want to replace the product or even repair it, wtf. Never buying anything from them again.

PS- I would recommend members here to get the skill of flying fpv drones you can use simulators such as uncrashed for basic flying and for combat flying I tried FPV Kamikaze drone, pretty realistic with respect to the physics. Right now however, there are much better combat FPV simulators and just keeps getting better. Ukraine and Russian soldiers use these to train.

i mean if i was in India i possibly abandon my FPV hobby because of import restriction and drop shipping startups spiked up prices, my hope is one day our startups start to realize importance of self sufficiency and start designing their on drones, this is something am working on by the way (design is open source not mine i only making modifications)

ps; my personal recommendation don't by DJI Avata build your on using Gparc or speedybee frames it cheep and more reliable

I remember reading a reddit post a few months ago, where people where saying InsideFPV, Garuda etc were all just repackaging Chinese drones.
For example they have a drone called Elevate V1 which they're selling for 1.5Lakhs.
Now If you check on Aliexpress, the exact same drone(CFLY Faith 2 Pro) is available for $225 or basically 1/10th of the price.

I don't know how they'll be making these 10k drones. Probably importing CKD's from China, Vietnam and relabeling them here. SMH

@SKC @hit&run can we guys merg the private sector thread with DRDO one like it was before? I understand the idea that private industres are on a rise but it's not that much this thread has been dead it barely has 4 pages (this is just a suggestion)

Thats still good progress.
Let's have it separate only.

First members need to identify the Private Defence companies operating in India and then find out the products they are working upon.
