Absolutely.

Green Berrets used to do infiltration type ops in vietnam war across the border into cambodia and back.

I talked with a family friend of mine whose father served and friends served.

They were badass back then. i Also shared some of the operations in kashmir with him😊

This is exactly how we won the 1971 war also. The SFF and clearance divers did ops with mukti bahini. Avoiding a peer to peer conflcit and making use of proxies.
