I remember hearing maj sapru, reminiscing an old anecdote wherein he debated with his buddy whether or not to takeup an uphill battle to a militant hideout somewhere in the pir panjals. Ultimately they decided against it.
But he also cheekily remarked, "Had Sudhir been there, he would have gone up 100% - he'd militant hai, contact hoga, thokenge aur kya"
At the end of the day both were fine gentlemen & hardened operators but one was to loose his life fighting and the other one was to be a cool retired uncle who would narrate all those stories over a drink!
