But your own MOD uses it...journalists use it...Matyr and slaughter are not used in official millitary slangs even. It's just that

1. Which from 'Team Wendy'? Specify like I did plus revision is now established in India, SPG might get the same Viper P3 or P4s...
2. First of all the tailor made PC of MARCOs I'm talking about has both the plates so "WhY nOt aT Sf RiG wItH bAcK pLaTe rEmOvEd" doesn't make sense, secondly I suggested this as its cost effective and whole forces can be equipped with it... Do check the price of AT SF/ST RIG, then talk.
3. Yes Magnifiers are their and more coming.
4. Cuz NG7s are newly inducted and use the same ammo as Sig-716i.
5. They have Sig-716i and the associated accessories...

Why to be offended by words like slaughter?

Killed/Matyred/shaheed or veergati also means the same only.

Last couple of years have been very bad for Para SF where they were pinned down 1 time in Rajouri and second time where PAFF made a video of entire Para SF squad which was lying dead and praised their bravery.

Third time they got pinned down was in 2018 famous op.

Apart from this in the last few years in Jammu region many times when launching a counter attack most if not all times the terrorists managed to escape.

Except the basantar op when was the last time Para killed so many? If my memory serves me right in Jammu region the last must have been the truck ambush.

So dont get offended here we all are same team.Its just that one team thinks we are best and other team thinks we should be best.

How is CI/CT a different thing that mandates use of subpar jugaad ? Over shiiet that is thought over and designed to do what it is expected to do?

Yaar no one is normalizing this word. I understand your perspective that it can be seen as insensitive in most scenarios. But for god's sake try to understand that unofficially speaking, "slaughtered by enemy" provides a more honest depiction of the brutal realities of this conflict, it might provoke a stronger reaction to the circumstances leading to the soldiers’ deaths.

I am not in favour or against the use of this word but I am saying, just like what I feel @COLDHEARTED AVIATOR is, to stop taking it so personally. No one is mocking our guys who've been KIAs, it's just the ground reality that someone's been killed. And it's used in a context that we are not supportive of the killings and that the senior leadership needs to take things seriously.

How different ? Room intervention bhi hota hai CI/CT mei toh...CI/CT is just an environment, you need good comms and train your men on good gear if you want to fight in such an environment. This was stressed enough during IPKF's blunder, I dont understand why you think we want them to be seen fully kitted like in RIMPAC, they can be wearing good decent gear and still feel light. Why does this inferiorty complex comes by everytime cause you are defending the bad quality of gear time and again my boy

I think everyone here loves our SF. We are the same folks who keep ranting about sadakchaap PCs and rejoice when 1/9 Para gets kills/takes revenge.

2023 was indeed a dark year for 9 - I still can't digest the fact that an entire squad was wiped off by few trts. 9 of all units. Imagine your tip of the tip of the spear lying on the ground with bursts in their face and skulls and a bunch of borderpaar porkijabis dancing around videotaping them and stealing their rifles. Capt Shubham Gupta wala toh manliya evac karne ke chakkar meh chalo, but this?

I remember not being able to sleep for a whole night after seeing their pics.

But I still feel there is some amount of fear these pigs have for para. Had it not been there, tavor ke saath ek do ka sar bhi katke le jate. That would have been called 'slaughtered.'

Maybe they once trained with and beat SAS, but now they are just a Tier-2 force. For no fault pf their own though but govt, their seniors' lacklustre attitude and more.

Yeah 400 crores is a lot. But you know what's not? 8400 crores, for 6 attack helos - that are beyond schedule for years.

Ones that you wouldn't even use in your ops because you get shy with overpowering firepower.

We shouldn't have bought apache heli in first place apache have worse safety record it crashes all the time and is overprized alot ka 52 alligator would have been better choice but import lobby is at work soon with stryker again
And approx 400 cr considering 9-15 lakh per operator to mordenisation of our sf in 6000 number offcourse actual number of sf operative may be Higher
