Ohk good! The best part is how much all the fanboiz cry for AT SF/ST RIG or CRYE PC in Kashmir, its rarely used... AT or CRYE PCs are used for VBSS, Patrolling and Photo Ops only, CI-CT is just a different thing.

We can't explain people who tend to think TI or nvg will provide night fighting capabilities
We are tensed wrt trts bcoz the TI which we are seeing is stepping stone for them to get nvg and all other necessary equipments for night fighting
U can't just give them nvg and expect them to go and fight be it is or trts but it's commendable that trts are adopting same measures as us and we being a professional military are just able to cope up with trts
That is getting TI
And TI don't provide night fighting capabilities
We have seen how trts adapt faster and not too soon they will get necessary equipments such as LAM strobes dual tubes etc and with proper sop coz they have better learning curve

Monotubes don't provide night fighting capabilities
They don't have dual tubes nor quads
Even these nvd doesn't mean u have credible night fighting capabilities
U need different tactics and training for it
Basically it's a complete different domain and our sof haven't even experienced bit of it except to an extent marcos
That's why u see incomplete equipments if they have LAM then no nvd nor strobes
If they have baseless monotubes then no IR strobes
It's bcoz bare minimum training wrt night fighting and absence of awareness too
And yes in future if their attitude doesn't change and remain same like past decade then I am sorry but they will get slaughtered
And no amount decency in language will change the fact
 
Why to be offended by words like slaughter?

Killed/Matyred/shaheed or veergati also means the same only.

Last couple of years have been very bad for Para SF where they were pinned down 1 time in Rajouri and second time where PAFF made a video of entire Para SF squad which was lying dead and praised their bravery.

Third time they got pinned down was in 2018 famous op.

Apart from this in the last few years in Jammu region many times when launching a counter attack most if not all times the terrorists managed to escape.

Except the basantar op when was the last time Para killed so many? If my memory serves me right in Jammu region the last must have been the truck ambush.

So dont get offended here we all are same team.Its just that one team thinks we are best and other team thinks we should be best.

No one here is a enemy.

Well I thought after him becoming an advocate he's gonna be more articulate and atleast humble but see...he's not entirely wrong about what happened to him. However I refuse to believe that the forces did not support him at all, in his own book he mentions how some people actually motivated him like once someone talked him over to try and jump in the dam waters and swim again, someone told him that he needs to learn to get himself back on etc...yet his victim mentality never goes. Reading his own words, he just shows some appreciation to those people but never listened to anybody. xyz unit is shitty because abc soldier didn't get martyred" third world military mindset. In my opinion...he being from a village simpleton background never got used to the sense of humour most other MARCOs have. Read his book and you'll see that when people joked around him he took it personally, he needs serious therapy man. I had a convo with him on insta long time ago and he said he was invited to NSG center Maneswar to give a talk and motivate young guys there. He proudly said that he showed them the middle finger. Ab esse attitude ke sath tum kisi aur ko blame kesse kar sakte ho. I have stopped feeling sorry for him.

I havent watched any of his interviews bcoz the moment someone gives me a hint of BS i avoid wasting my time but i was wondering if what you are saying about his mindset is true then how come he made it to fauj let alone SF?

Fauj of any country in this world is not for the thin skinned..i am very surprised.

Yaar such people do exist, I mean he was naturally gifted as an athelete and before 26/11 he never really saw himself as a victim as such. Circumstances change people. He was good going till he was injured. Watch Jocko's podcast with BTF Tony, he mentions how some Team guys left despite being good operators because they couldnt take the nicknaming and being made fun off and stuff. Infact I'm watching this podcast rn just to see where he goes with it and it's suprizing that I dont detect the bullshit meter yet, other than his style of storytelling. He is mostly talking about MARCOS selection and training and I see he was able to make it through simply because he was confident about himself and did not look back.
Then as @Arad Operator said it's an ego issue from both sides. Yeah, we all know how that works here in India
