Indian Special Forces

all we have to do is wait.... patiently..... and the hammer needs to strike at the right time... but keep in mind the window is narrow
Hard cash flow needs to re-start. Like the early 2000s. Pin-point intel - cleanly laid ambushes - heads will roll.

It's 2025 and a bunch of porkijabis are chilling deep inside our territory in the jungles of Kishtwar. Like a group consoliated together. 10-15 (entire cadre in the district).

Had this been 2002-06, 2 para would have come and smoked them there.

Instead, they are coming in for casos and lose a senior jco/offr.

True that, during GWOT when you'd do door kicking mostly and LRRP not so much, majority of the guys were bulked up.
You'll see however members of sniper units would be lean, like this SEAL Team Six guy here, he's around 5'6" and lean and talks about how snipers would do LRRP cause for assaulters it pretty much phased out

It will be better if we don’t anything online.Offlate we had become the most hated type in the internet thanks to actions of our own dimmies.Modij’s world respected super power India and ground realities are two parallel lines.

Offlate some insta page is promoting this dude. I had many friends who had cleared SSB and became officers in all three branches. But each one of them had almost very same kind of disciplined mindset. But none of them were street smart or the best i had seen during my life. And the best guys with most leadership skills whom i am sure of withstanding any issue with cool head and ingenious ideas never had any distant interest in military.Even if they got selected either they may be either fit for SF kinda ones or will be utter misfit for ‘yes sir ‘no sir kinda regular units.
Army officers having self pride is good but thinking they are the best lot or cream of the youngster society is absolute crap.
On a personal note i am okay with my SsB rejection because i was a total idiot back then and even now not much have changed😄
I became super blackpilled from my experience in attending SSB back in my days and getting conference out twice.

I could not find any logic in this process being used to select officers in 21st century. Asking random questions in conference, asking to write a story after showing a hazy picture during screening.

Then having some objective tests on day 2-3. Nothing makes any sense no in this day and age!

I have had one of my good school friend clear NDA back after 12th and he joined service. He used to interact till like before COVID after which I lost contact with him. He was not the brightest of the bunch but some who will follow orders and that it about him!

Then had so many college friends and acquaintances clearing SSB for Short commission over the year and realized the same: They need someone who can simply follow the orders and nothing else. No one stood out as a strategist or ultra bright mind.

Bro @COLDHEARTED AVIATOR i didn’t mean they were in any way below oar. Those i know except one guy were all smart with good qualities but not in any way the alpha male in the group.Only one guy was the jack of all trades .If didn’t went to Navy he would have become one of the best in industry.Any way he got out just he completed the 10 year tenure.
Nutshell is that military selects those who are disciplined enough to obey your orders .The deeds they does during conflict time is non comparable and worth every ounce of respect. But that doesn’t mean they can assume they are some kind of MIT level IQ waala people.

Thats pretty much it is!
We have not updated our processes since ages. What been setup by British is still ongoing.

SSB system was setup by British during WWII, they needed to induct order obeying soldier who can be thrown on field to fight. And the same system is still ongoing to the date.

These soldiers are from 9 para from the looks of it. Every SF unit in that region including Marcos & Garuds wear stuff like these. Harnesses/LBV/Chest rigs and no helmet for longer duration ops in this enviirnment.
how about we start fresh and clean with things like neat less messy chest rigs, a damn camo that atleast matches the terrain, remove helmets for longer ops? excuse me but arent the chinese fighting on same altitude with proper kits? or are they roaming around with bulky asf rigs dragging them down in exact opposite camo colors of the terrain meanwhile leaving their heads open for snipers to blow their heads out especially in a sniper/ uav suited long range cover less combat area like ladakh..
